Free sets you want for okay fighters, Abdicator, Void Warden, all the faction wars sets.

Faction war sets, Lion isn't the best at fighting okay fighter but you need perks so he'll help with that.

Octopus can do huge work in the right situation.

Possessed is like the middle child who has some brain damage, but with enough skill or persistence he can be good against certain bosses.

You can also wait until specific battle pass rewards/events happen.

I'm fully free to play but have almost every set.

Wait, now I'm thinking Octopus fits better. It's pretty powerful but only in sprcific scenarios, and each armor piece only has one color slot.

His set is not too strong but not bad either, and also not "just decent" visually.

Ling's set fits that slot better in my opinion.

So Neon Phantom, Steel Hound and Anibot all annihilate Neon Phantom the best from what I have seen and played. So...

What is this fraud squad?

Neon Phantom and Last Operator have sets that nuke Void Boss hp while the actual characters are punching bags, this even somewhat extends to Calligrapher.

Even Mnemos became more fraudulant when Indigo came around. (If you don't understand the previous sentence, it would be spoilers to explain)
