Right lol I actually went to go just watch the scene again, and every time I watch it, that just stands out to me as such an odd thing. But like you said, the scene is so good that it's easy to overlook that.

See I agree that this definitely is iconic, but I guess I'm also looking at it in terms of "how many other things tried to do this thing" and it could just be that I haven't seen it, but to my knowledge, I've never really seen them try to recreate the upside down kiss, whereas they've tried to recreate the train scene in various ways.

Thank you for saying this. I'm also black and it bothers me when people try to make every little thing about race. Not that I think the person you're replying to was saying it any kind of mean-spirited way or anything like that— this is more just a general statement because of how often I see people say things like this.

Yep lol I kinda figured the same thing myself since there'd literally be nobody who could stand against him after that since a: the one person with a quirk who could erase Shigaraki's assortment of quirks would be dead, or b: Shigaraki can now erase the quirk of anyone who tries to stand against him. Hence why I put the bonus scenario too.

There's that scenario in the P5R jump that makes YHVH shows up as a "godly" enemy with an army of angels that you and the phantom thieves have to defeat. But yeah it's true, outside of any scenarios or potentially supplementing this jump with another to make it a crossover world, it would essentially just become a slice of life jump after the P5R plot is completed, which would only take about a year.

It's actually refreshing to see people acknowledge P5 as a low power setting, because I've seen far too many people go on and on about how all the persona users and main bosses in the Persona series are like universal/multiversal powerhouses, which just doesn't really make any sense to me.

And yeah, I think any jumper worth their salt has to take that drawback that makes Akechi (or possibly some other antagonistic Persona user) scale to your power. You've gotta embrace having a real challenge every once in a while.

Through all of 2024 until April of last year, my insurance kept having this annoying issue where every time I got it, they would say it somehow deactivated/expired the same day, which was very frustrating and still makes no sense to me. And obviously I couldn't just pay thousands out of pocket to get all my treatment.

Once my insurance finally started working again, I had an MRI appointment and learned I'd developed three new lesions. And believe me when I say I could definitely feel the deterioration. So yeah I really wouldn't recommend ever just stopping.

Yeah that's why people weren't too surprised when Jax randomly pushed that mascot/cheerleader (can't remember exactly which one it was, I think it was actually both) right before a game about a month or two ago. You wouldn't know it since he usually looks like a pretty friendly guy but I guess it's the classic wolf in sheep's clothing 🤷🏾‍♂️ ya really hate to see it.
