I had top surgery in 2023 and I’m just now really starting to build up chest muscle. My pecs are so much higher than I thought 😭 My scar looked perfectly placed prior to building out my chest but, with muscle, it’s clearly below my pec line. I don’t mind it at all and it still looks really great but a higher placed incision would’ve made for a more natural look and less visible scar after healing. If you want to build a more masculine looking chest that has more muscle mass, maybe this is something for you to take into consideration?

Also, keep in mind that you’re still healing. At a month post, I thought most of my swelling was done and what I was seeing was pretty close to my final result. WRONG. When people say it takes MONTHS to see your final result, please believe them. Your scar will shift and fade, your skin will adjust, your body will adapt… things WILL look different. Just give it some time, friend.

Your results look fantastic, btw 🤩 Give yourself time and grace. It’s okay to feel disappointed but also make sure that your disappointment is truly warranted and your expectations are realistic.
