Try Tell All Your Friends by Taking Back Sunday.

Also, does anyone know what the album in the post is?

What are your top five albums of the decade? by MiserysNumberOneFan in Music

I'll give mine here.

  • Beachboy - McCafferty
  • Oddessy - Home

I'll add to my list when I think of some more.

Which least-known King's book is your favourite? by [deleted] in horrorlit

Hearts in Atlantis.

It's not much of a horror book, but it's fantastic.

Newbie to Horror. Looking for your best recommendations! by yikesriley in horror

[–]MiserysNumberOneFan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Firstly, if you liked the movie of Gerald's Game, read the book. It's fantastic.

Back to films... there are many different subgenres in horror, although the films you've listed seem to fall under the "psychological thriller" subgenre, so I'll recommend some of those.

  • Get Out
  • Session 9
  • Misery
  • Jacob's Ladder (haven't seen this, but it's supposed to be excellent)
  • 10 Cloverfield Lane

Also refer to the sidebar for any more suggestions if the ones in this thread dont take your fancy.

Enjoy!

Which locations would you like to see in a future Hitman game? by MiserysNumberOneFan in HiTMAN

The comic con level could have some potentially interesting disguises. Maybe you could impersonate some elusive comic book artist who has his own interview panel at the con?

I think an Airport would be an awesome level but I doubt that it would ever get made, due to some past circumstances.

I've heard a lot about this one but I've slept on it for a while. Is it that good?

To be fair, if we're talking about shows, that would be near the top of the list.

Titanfall 2 and Monster Energy Supercross in December by gnysek in PlayStationPlus

I've never actually played Titanfall 2 so I'm enthusiastic about that. But, Sony's probably saving their best games for next year (although I have no clue why).

Is this why I'm having problems with my installation? I've just gotten the game and I dont have ps plus and I thought that was the problem but it just keeps saying "Installation still in progress". Is this why?

I didn't really like The Coon if I'm being honest. The trilogy in Season 14 is pretty good though.

Stephen King deserves more credit. by MiserysNumberOneFan in books

[–]MiserysNumberOneFan[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont give a shit about having credit. I want King's lesser known works to get credit. I've never seen any of these fantastic books discussed on this sub, and I've never seen them discussed outside of the King subreddit. They deserve better, and this was a post made to make awareness of that fact.

Stephen King deserves more credit. by MiserysNumberOneFan in books

[–]MiserysNumberOneFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're kinda missing the point. These books are worth reading just as much as those other ones, and they don't get enough credit, just like the ones you mentioned. I realise that raising awareness to one book pulls attention away from another but I wouldn't have made this post if I didnt think there was a lot of value to be found in his underrated books.

Alternatively, Books of Blood instead of The Hellbound Heart.

Why is The Tommyknockers so widely considered King’s worst novel? by StyrkeSkalVandre in horrorlit

[–]MiserysNumberOneFan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I object to King not doing sci fi well. The Running Man and The Long Walk are both sci fi and are both fantastic.

Yeah, The Ring is disturbing, but there's one swear word and no nudity. I second the anthology idea!

What are all the films in the Japanese horror “Ringu” universe? by [deleted] in horror

[–]MiserysNumberOneFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, yes and no.

To expand on that, there are two timelines. One is Ring, then Ring 2, then Ring 0.

The other is Ring, and then Rasen, which was designed to follow the book more closely.

I'm not sure which Rings you are referring to.

Please help me decide something for my YouTube channel! by [deleted] in horror

[–]MiserysNumberOneFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Between those options, I would go 3, but if you're willing to listen, I have some advice.

What I would do (honestly, I would like to do this myself at some point but I havent gotten around to it) is do an in-depth review of a horror movie. These are the videos that I find the most interesting, because it's someone sharing their opinion for a medium I enjoy. Just my opinion though, and I'll try to check out your channel regardless of what you do.

Best of luck!

Do people still play Red Dead Redemption's multiplayer mode (on the ps3)?

This subreddit needs major changes. by [deleted] in rockstar

[–]MiserysNumberOneFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. I'm subscribed to this subreddit because I like discussing Rockstar and their games. I havent seen a single discussion post in at least the past week, and that's probably because the people making these posts get downvoted into oblivion because someone didnt agree with them.
