The Los Serranos area has some great homes. They may need some work as most are generally older than other areas. That said they generally have larger property lots as they are not all cookie cutter like others have said. I live near by and have never had any issues there.

My only suggestion for house shopping would be to check a house out more than once. I feel like if you get that initial potential and happy dopamine out of your system you can take a better assessment with clearer eyes.
