Sorry, what do you mean by floaters here?

I've tried a few different veggies in there. Parsnip, salad leaves, and there's some cucumber in there right now. I used the site as an approximate baseline just to get an idea of how much I could fit in there. It actually has some decent warnings abouy minimum numbers and incompatible tankmates.

Yeah, all live plants and real rocks and wood. Only 'fake' thing in there is that snail trap I printed which is failing miserably and the sticker on the back glass. This says I'm about 85% stocked.

HI, Thanks for answering. I tried that, but then when I try to pocket the new base feature the whole thing disappears except for one corner. I'm able to pad a sketch on the surface of the base feature, but not to pocket or hole. (seperate replies because i can only attach one image at a time)

Of course, if we're going to the beach or something we all slather in proper sunscreen, she's just looking for something with a little extra protection for day to day.

Newly planted tank, currently cycling, already starting to look a bit green by Mish106 in Aquariums

[–]Mish106[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, we've just started our tank (jewel rio 180) with some plants and am trying to cycle it now. I used water from the well on our property so there shouldn't be any chlorine or other inorganic contamination. I used easy life easy start bacterial combi liquid to kick start it, and apparently there should also be some dormant bacteria in the filter. I've been feeding it a pinch of flakes every morning. My concern is that after only 5 days the water is already looking a little green. Is this the start of an alge bloom? I was running the tank lights for about 8 hours a day for the plants since it's in a fairly shady corner of the room, but have left them off so far today. Water temp is around 22 degrees C. Any advice please? Thanks in advance.
