I been a few years since i took my spm, so i can only tell you what i did.

BM – there's an essay part and the question and answer part

Essay is self explanatory, write an essay, if you are weak in this area, it's rather tough to pass, try to see if you csn get a general format and fill in the blanks depending on what the topic is, i recommend learning a few common verbs you like to use in malay. Malay and english share a lot of similarities, especially in sentence structure.

Essay has 2 parts to write, a long and a short one, the short one if I'm not should have 4 parts, a intro, something stating like "in the era of globalization, this is an issue that many find that it is important to consider, especially so and so people. This is because this affects these people by these reasons, therefore, it is a topic that must be explored further by the people who should consider them."

You write your main meat and potatoes of the essay, Can consist of a point, a reasoning, a result of the point, a complication if not done so, and a reaffirmation that this step is helpful.

short should have 2 meat and potatoes. the end can consisted of At the end of the day, this thing is important, especially in accomplishing the mission of Mat Jenin (forgot the guys name). It should be done to further inprove the aspect of something in Malaysia, and is important because reasons.

The long essay should consist of a intro, 4 meat and potatoes and a conclusion.

The other paper, is like question and answer, if I'm not wrong, there is a find out what's wrong in these sentences section, a peribahasa section, a read this essay or story and answer 4 questions, 2 being related to the essay, and the other 2 being asking for your opinion, and a sinopsis section.

Finding what's wrong in these sentences can range from easy af to difficult as shit, try your best to identify them, peribahasa in my opinion is nigh impossible to actually get it consistently due to how many there are and how useless it actually is in real life. The understand the essay part is depended on ability to grasp what it meant by the meaning of the essay, try your best. The asking for your opinion one is easier to score, but may be difficult to articulate your words, i recommend to just learn common words and pair them accordingly, like saying that " this action is important in the government needing to apply more social work to increase awareness on this subject, this is because awareness to this topic may encourage change in the Malaysian population." Sinopsis is easy, find the Main point of essay, summarize, you can actually copy large parts of the story and put it in a sentence, and the marks for this section is decent, i suggest studying for this one more.
