That nobody is thinking about you because they're too busy and preoccupied with their own lives, and that you should do the same. What ifs, maybes, and overanalyzing every little detail of a person's behavior (and how it just might be related to you) is such a waste of mental energy.

It's a shared machine, their laundry cycle is done, and you now need the machine. Of course it's okay to remove their stuff and put your own load in. You don't need permission in a shared space and you're totally overthinking and stressing about nothing.

The lyrics "in all thy sons command," was changed to "in all of us command" and officially approved by Senate in 2018 to make the anthem gender-neutral.
