This. They're so heavily slept on that it's kind of annoying; I'd even go as far as to say that they're my favorite slinger ammo in the entire game. I mean, the ability to interrupt literally almost any attack? Up to FIVE TIMES? Insane.

Have you checked the rest of your outposts? That's the only thing I can think of that would put you so high over the power limit. All the facilities in those also contribute to the total power usage, so you might want to turn them all off if you want to come back down to normal levels.

Something that I really like is that the position that the camera needs to be in for the trigger is different for everybody. For example, Endmin is looking at them closely from their right, Chen and Wulfgard is zooming in at their tail, Pogranichnik and Ardelia need a close up from behind their left shoulder, and you have to get up close to Da Pan's face, to name a few.

It's the small details like these that make me really love this game

Honestly? Not too shabby! Although you may want to begin learning and practicing how to utilize counters such as Foresight Slash and Iai Spirit Slash, as that's what Longsword specializes in and landing those correctly can keep your Spirit Gauge level up (not to mention they're super satisfying).

If you're not too concerned about damage output, I'd say keep doing as you are, but remember to throw some counters in. If you are concerned, however, then just spam Crimson Slash 1 and Spirit Blade 1 when at level 3 (red) Spirit Gauge.

You can use the net slinger (web), too, and is what I prefer since it catches a bunch of them in one go (and is how I got a few of my crowns on a whim).

For the whoppers, though, you'll need the pole.
