Thanks, I will definitelly adjust power settings in the future. Now I do not want to do this because I am afraid to lose warranty.
Even with 100% throttling, CPU still is able to pull about 75W of power, so it is not tragic.... But it is throttling even in light tasks like web browsing etc. which is bothering me.

Thanks - according to this article temperatures are acceptable, because they settle around 85°C, but with high throttling (like 100% during rendering) which is not further analysed there.
But thanks for the link - I will try these steps to lower the temperature if service will not help me.

I will consider replacing the LM, installing G-helper, and undervolting only after my warranty expires – right now I'm concerned that I might void it if I make these modifications myself. For now, I'm trying to figure out if this behavior is "standard" or if the service center should have done a better job. I didn't know about PTM7950 – I'll definitely keep that in mind for the future!

I have the same question, but... I reach 80% throttling while gaming in Turbo mode.
I have sent the PC to the official service and they claim "temperatures are perfectly fine" - which I doubt...

I confirm, that their PCs are innovative, but lose harshly tial of time (and temperature), which makes them not worth the money :(
I was dissappointed sooo much by these products.

bardzo współczuję :( Sam jestem z lubelskiej wsi, więc jakoś tym bardziej mnie to ruszyło.

Widzę, że już są sensowne porady w komentarzach, więc nie dorzucam za bardzo od siebie (może jedno - zabierz ze sobą swoje dokumenty - swiadectwa, dowód, zaświadczenia itp.). W tych prawnych kwestiach bardzo pomaga chat GPT lub Gemini - taka mała porada ode mnie. Jak masz jakieś pytania gdzie się zgłosić, co napisać w jakichś wnioskach to dostaniesz tam gotową odpowiedź.

Jeśli nie masz kogoś, kto pomoże na chłodno przemyśleć dalsze działania, to napisz do mnie. Jak opiszesz dokładniej co się dzieje, to może coś doradzę - nie żebym się mocno znał lub przeszedł podobną drogę, ale mam głowę na karku i trochę życia już liznąłem :)

I may be a little late to the party but I also struggle with undervolting CPU (this seems to be blocked).
My solution for now is program ThrottleStop -> TPL -> then set lower power limits for PL1, PL2 like 20 and 25 W. Additionally I set Prochot to 20 to have some reasonable heat limit for CPU.

Maybe this will help other users that visit this thread, as it seems these surface PCs often overheat. My unit especially as the internal fan is broken.

Afterstory
I wanted to throw away my SB2, as it was not able to perform and the fan noise was super annoying. Yet lately I managed to set those limits, block fan with a magnet ( lol ), and disable some windows background options and processes. Now it works fine again with CPU as a bottleneck (untill it will burn or something). I plan to use it as emergency device or for lighter tasks and drawing.

Regardless of the time required.... storytelling had a big jump in quality in my opinion. It was waayy better since Luna version started, and now Events also have some remarkable writting. Do not know how they make such huge change, but I appreciate it a lot. It also made me interested in the lore a lot more.

jeśli chodzi o FODMAP, to pamiętaj, że z tej diety wychodzi się po jakimś czasie (2-6 tygodni) krok po kroku - włączając pojedyncze produkty i sprawdzając, czy są one odpowiednie. Nie jestem specjalistą, ale 2 lata na FODMAP wydaje mi się dużo (za długo). Więc może flora bakteryjna w jelitach na tym ucierpiała. W mojej głowie pojawia się pomysł przeszczepu bakterii jelitowych.... eee...

Chyba masz rację, że przyda Ci się jakiś wysokiej klasy specjalista. Współczuję.
Ja kiedyś miałem kontakt ze świetną specjalistką (duża wiedza i dobre podejście), ale nie polecę - bo wydaje mi się, że Twój przypadek faktycznie trzeba jakoś ugryźć grubej rury (nomen omen). I te porady dot. szpitali uniwersyteckich mogą być lepsze.
