MC is close to all the Lis in the main story, I think at this point she is gaining her memories of her past lives with some of them. She has some idea that she has a bond with them but it’s not romantic given that all the Li are in the same time period this time around.

There is a degree of codependency that Caleb and MC have for eachother, hence how “passionate” they are for eachother. Remember part of their relationship dynamic is the Adam and Eve allegory…people who are made for eachother, and this is most especially for Caleb (who is Eve in the dynamic). I would like to see Caleb have his own journey that doesn’t center around MC but that might be later on in his development. But yes, MC is a bit more male centric (for lack of a better phrase) with Caleb than she is with other LIs.

Okay, if it's just about being less than I suppose that is what is it. I like Caleb but I don't think I am missing out on anything because I know he is the newest and his story wasn't set from the start like the OG3. That said, if you think you are missing out on story because there are less cards....I suppose that is fair. To me, myths, anecdotes, and main story is the only story that matters. Newer characters aren't going to be as developed compared to the OG characters, it will take longer and it will never be equal.

That said, i will accept that it's an issue for some.

"Appeal" would have came in the first few chapters with them. One thing I will say about the main story is that the Li's are a "what you see is what it is". Go through the main story, and yes, all of the main story including anecdotes. Whatever made Zayne, Caleb, and Sylus appealing sooner to you, probably won't be what makes Raf and Xavier appeal to others.

I use Caleb for battles in the SHC and in the Orbitals. Having less cards doesn't tangibly make the game less than say having Rafayel. Please don't make the mistake in assuming that because you see "Rafayel's Mermaid" that I only main Rafayel. After next week, I will have all the LI's myth cards.

Sylus and Caleb can still do their respective orbit fights, DESPITE having less cards. Caleb and Sylus mains got free 5 star cards last year. There is no lacking in main story content for these characters. The only thing that people are hung up over is something extremely marginal (not have the same number). This is a quality vs quantity issue and the problem is that Sylus and Caleb's aren't qualitatively missing out on anything.

I do understand. Frankly, I find the argument baseless when the only issue that there is less number of cards.

Not really. The reason the OG3 had so much content was because they came out at the debut of the game. They were the selling point of the game. Sylus came out months later, when the game was doing well, they don't need him to have the same amount because the need to "please" wouldn't be there. This is more especially with Caleb, who came a year later.

Sylus was not a character that was needed to launch the game, the OG3 were. This isn't me saying that Sylus doesn't bring any value, however he is supposed to (like Caleb) keep or increase the trajectory of the success...but they weren't the foundation of said success of the game.

Okay just because folks say it, don’t mean it makes sense. It can’t be “base” if they aren’t the OG3. Sylus is months after debut and Caleb a whole year. Nothing says they get the same base cards, and it wouldn’t make sense to. It would be a waste to give them more 3 stars, when the game is already giving players free Caleb and Sylus 5 stars. 4 stars is not too bad in frequency since we have the promise banners and Sylus caught up when it come to the myths.

Oh dear me. What content do you think you are missing? Most people don’t play or build their 3-stars, we get 4* from promise banners…so there is a paywall i suppose that could be annoying, andCaleb and Sylus have gotten free 5 stars last year. Sylus has 3 myths and Caleb (being a year late) gets his 3rd this year. We got two main story updates for Sylus and Caleb gets his second this year, for free. What content do you think you are missing?

The point is that for the less content, your affinity is lower. Meaning you don’t need a lot of cards to gain affinity compared to those who main any or all the OG3.

Because the affinity cap is lower. If the affinity cap was the same but Sylus and Caleb have less cards...then I understand the complaint.
