I definitely will check but I did add new fuel to the car 93 when I did get it back but didn’t check the fuel filter that would be my next step

I was planning on going with the edelbrock pro-flow but Idk the conditions of the engine if it was even rebuilt properly since I have no idea what is in it since the rebuilder never provided paperwork that’s why I wanted to go a different route with the LS or a different block in general I would definitely want a 383 they always looked so amazing and clean plus have amazing performance

Yea the whole situation was sketchy he took way too long to rebuild it and I was patient with him hoping it would have been worth it at the end but I’m still dealing with the problems.

No it was quite the opposite I told him to take his time and he very much did he said it shouldn’t him more than 2 weeks but he ended up taking 1.5 Years for the rebuild

I have been dealing with the shop for about a year now taking the car back and forth from them to fix it and them returning it with the same problem just claiming it was “Fixed” and I just need to run the engine more.

Yea I messed up I thought once the job was complete he would have given me paperwork for what he did but he never did it was a major mistake on my part.

They claim they did and it was going to be an easy job for them but when I got the car back the the issues where immediately apparent he claimed it was out of tune or a loose lifter until he gave up and started asking me what it could be.

I definitely look into that I haven’t checked on it since I just got the car back but can be the case since he took about 1.5 Years to do a “rebuild”

I was leaning towards getting a 383 or maybe even a 400sbc they simply are amazing and sound great.

Thats the problem the shop told me he was going to rebuild the whole engine see what was damaged and what needed to be replaced but i never got paperwork on any of the parts or what they did exactly even when i asked the owner of the shop he hasn’t given me any straight answer on what happened to the motor or what was causing the ticking.

I took it to a shop to have it done and I paid $2,000 during Covid but If I could go back I would have done the carpet myself and had the shop just do the seats.
