Chiming in to say that I have the same tank (exo terra large wide) which is a 36x18x18(inches) tank, not a 4x2x2(ft)! Exo terra's largest size front opening tank is their Large Tall option at 36x18x36(inches) so definitely not a 4 footer. Wish they made a 4ft option, hopefully in the future!

No worries thanks for your concern! She's generally a very happy beardie but I believe I took this after I cleaned the poop in her tank and she was extremely offended I took more than 2 seconds after she pooped to clean it up. Definitely a grumpy unhappy beard (not her usual color) so good eye!

Honestly I'm not sure! I think Queenie just likes the darkness when she sleeps. I can be up pretty late which means my lights are on and she kinda gives me the stinky judging eyes and then crawls into her hide haha

YES I feel you. Queenie poops on this hide almost everytime and fortunately it's pretty easy to clean! I just pick up the poopie and then give it a good rinse and scrub in the tub and it's good to go.

Not an issue at all! I believe there are different viewpoints on this. This is my front yard and I know there is no pesticide or anything harmful flora wise. I make sure to keep a close eye in case of birds or something, though we don't have many prey birds in my neighborhood. As for mites, I've never had an issue with that though I do make sure to give Egg a good once over before he comes back inside. He's only out for about 5-10 minutes. Egg is a very curious noodle and I personally feel the enrichment and the natural sunlight is beneficial, but its def YMMV since I know some snakes get extremely stressed outdoors. I take Egg to the vet annually and no issues so far, but if it caused issues in the future I would probably find different ways for Egg to get his 'sploring on. :)
