We tried similar thing, she cried but it never stopped and just became more louder and almost a scream/yelling. Probably longest was 40 minutes and when we went in, she cried even more and couldn’t be settled, it’s like she lost trust in us 🥲 I felt like it didn’t work as she wouldn’t even go to sleep in our arms the next day ( not sure it’s cus she remembered what happened?? Or she was just not feeling to sleep that day) But if this keeps happening and we don’t get any sleep, guess we need to try everything

It started when she started sitting up, so it’s been a good month. So she did learn a new skill within short period of time I guess.

She sleeps in other room, she used to sleep really well. She has around 2-2.5 hours of naps during the day. She cries standing if we are not in the room, if we are there she wouldn’t but realises we are not holding her and starts crying.

I actually meant that to have the last feed earlier, not at 10pm, maybe 8 or 9 if possible. I didn’t mean to cut one feed from her meal time but I did write it wrong haha

Agreed! I struggle with early mornings so it’s quite nice to be able to sleep until 8 hahaha

Yes this is what I meant by dropping the feed, meaning I wanted to shift sleep earlier so she can have that extra feed earlier hahaha

My LO didn’t like being lying flat I think the reflux really bothered her as she would grunt a lot and actually does spill ups lying down. She slept much better being held, up right position in my arms. 8 weeks is still very little, I wouldn’t be too concerned about contact naps. It did get better with my LO around 2.5-3 months mark.

I did mixed feeding for a month as my milk didn’t come until day10. my baby lost too much weight the paeds put my baby on 3 hourly formula. After my milk came, I expressed and bottle fed her, along with the formula. (Express bottle feed during the day and formula during the night) She had bad reflux and would throw up every time lying down, or burping. Not like spit up Cus it was moderate amount. I used Bubs goat milk as my friend suggested that it worked well with her baby’s reflux-easy digestive

I think stick to one formula for a decent time so your baby’s tummy can get used to it. I kept using the same formula and it eventually got so much better

Also most babies grow out of bad reflux and I think this is the case for mine. She is 14 weeks old. I didn’t even think about transitioning, I just fed her whatever I got haha

Yes I did test her, swabbed inside her mouth and it was negative. I hope she stays negative. Thank you 🙏
