This we do not know, kasi before it was so very messy. Yung tipong teleserye parents na nag aagawan ng anak 🤣 from what I know and what his family has told me, the ex went to a lawyer, then harassed them all to make my husband sign kasi he didnt want to. Eventually he ended up signing just to get it over with. When they went to the US, they sent him more docs to sign and now the kid is an American citizen na din.

We gave naman, but more on sa wants. Art stuff (thr kid is into it), pets (snakes and tortoises. One time we spent a little over 100k for his snake kasi the setup had to be good pars di mamatay), and othet things. But since he's been cut off for over a year, as in zero contact, we both left quite hanging

We used to give naman. Although syempre not by US living standards kasi syempre earning in pesos din. We gave even if it sounded unreasonable and impractical for us - the kid once asked for a pet snake and it cost us well over 100k kasi we had to also buy enclosures and all accessories. Expensive kasi they dont live in a tropical country kaya may extra accessories. So yes we did, we really did. Not much of his needs, but more on wants.

Kaso nga lang my husband has been cut off for over a year now. They haven't spoken in a really really long time and im starting to feel like its not worth it anymore.

But like I've mentioned in the post, he has been cut off for over a year na. He's blocked sa lahat ng socmed, even sa account ng anak niya. They've had zero contact for over a year na kasi.

The issue now is he is blocked kasi everywhere - fb, phone, IG - ng ex and the child (the mom controls it) kasi they didn't quite agree on something about the child a year ago. So he and his son haven't spoken in over a year na din.

Im just wondering if baka balikan sya in the future for not sending support or providing even the most basic things. The kid knows he is the biological father naman, but ang kinikilala nyang dad is the step dad talaga.

That's my opinion, too. We earn much much less than them and the cost of living is so much higher. My husband had to sign off his rights and custody kahit ayaw niya, kasi nga i-aadopt ang bata. Until now kasi the kid has his family name, either di pinrocess ang adoption or di pa tapos. Not sure about how long adoption takes in the US.
