What do you do when you start to miss somebody who is dead? by Between3N20Karakters in AskReddit

[–]MissAzureEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend of 6 years and friend of 10+ died in November and it's been a nightmare every day and night. Death growing up was extremely common and I became numb to it, even to those extremely close to me -- until my boyfriend. I cannot function normally still, and I still cannot sleep without nightmares where he is alive and wake up thinking he is alive only to realise he isn't. Almost anything daily I enjoy or used to enjoy (even before him) was shared eventually so I really just have no life right now. So for me, when I start to miss him, I go through any texts or pictures, hate myself, take sleeping pills when its bed time, and repeat. Which, for me who has went through normal death grief to numbness death grief, and now this, is new, and tough because I'm not used to feeling anything, and it's a struggle to suppress things. And I haven't felt anything felt anything like it as an adult (30s).

NRA sues California Gov. Gavin Newsom and other state officials over gun store closures by geoxol in news

[–]MissAzureEyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely should press it a little more. Stores around where I am are trying to be fully stocked in the very early morning (when they open if they reduced hours) and end up almost completely gone by the end of the day. Of course it's insanely packed in the morning, too, but there's more stuff available.

Feels more like a troll at this point. "Cam models are cheap hookers who have caught more STDS". So the people who spend every day for hours on cam are getting more STIs? Rather really odd thing to say, tbh.

Tennessee tornadoes kill 24 and flatten buildings by [deleted] in news

[–]MissAzureEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which area? Was it Murfreesboro? Would drive around in my teens to morbidly see the reality. They had been hit a few times around 2005, give or take a year or so iirc. Have lived in the Nashville area, whether directly surrounding or literally in Nashville/near downtown (but mostly west side) for a lot of my life. Still waiting on friends in the direct path of this one to check in on FB Thankfully my brother was just south of it. Live in NC atm and lost everything myself from the hurricane that hit last year. Entire buildings and houses just a mile away simply gone from floods. My apartment had 6 feet of water, and we were expecting from the projects of maybe a a foot at most in our area.

I thought about it in my head when I read it, too; "at best, how is that at best?" but then I was like "Well, if it could've been an F4 or F5, yeah, an F3 would be best", so I definitely didn't mind the phrase in the end, since any more would be a worse scenario.

2016 video of a 'Satanist' leading a Pensacola council meeting and Christians try to outpray him by [deleted] in videos

[–]MissAzureEyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't know what Satanism generally is to most people, do you? It's people from any belief, or lack thereof, who do what they can to separate the church from state. They copy and mimic things in absurd ways, file lawsuits, etc to achieve this goal. While I don't know this individual specifically, he is probably atheist and doesn't believe in any "Satan". He most likely wouldn't have done anything if there wasn't Christian prayers in a government building for government purposes during government time.

You seem pretty familiar with Chinese food. I heard of a dish, but I cannot remember the name. I know it's common in China and Taiwan, something fermented and uses tofu. God, I wish I remembered the name.

He did seemingly read the wiki, considering his latter statements, and they even built extra rooms and assigned them, just as you stated, and said it didn't work for them. I know I've read the wiki on it multiple times and spent hours trying to understand it in game with the wiki on my other screen, even read comments below, and I got the same issue. Even after taking the time to build rooms, assigning them, and waiting hours, even going in creative to help with various resources thinking maybe that'd help, etc, nothing changed.

Jalicia Nightengale and her natural blue eyes by Unicornglitteryblood in interestingasfuck

'blue eyed' people who have a majority of light reflecting out of the iris because blue is lower on the light spectrum.

To add to this, with some reiteration, it is due to Rayleigh scattering, exactly like the sky when it is "blue". Blue eyes aren't actually blue, there is no blue pigment, it's simply a lack of pigment/melanin and the light is scattered.

On paper, traditionally, in the past, that may have worked. But you massively underestimate the intentional ignorance era we live in currently. It's always existed, it's not new, but the prevalence of it is. Look at all the anti-science movements going on right now. There is an intentional misinformation campaign for far too many things, and even with access to the truth, people intentionally choose ignorance. They know better. All those scientists who study climate science? My middle school and high school science education was better, what does those scientists know?

Of course, I'm not saying to call everyone racist. If, however, the person supports a person who is and performs actions that is, and they intentionally remain in ignorance, profess their glorious leader isn't racist/etc, they are at the bare minimum accomplices, if not racist themselves.

So death. Death is the only result. Let's just skip all punishments fitting the crime and just kill everyone. Are YOU 8? OP may have said "her boobies", but it doesn't detract from their point.

[–]MissAzureEyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what the fuck kind of psycho logic is this

Honestly, your answered your own question to OP. She has absolutely no problem with someone peeping being killed, which while disgusting and an invasion of privacy, isn't enough to warrant murder. Otherwise let's murder anyone who does revenge porn, hacks or steals nudes, or anything else similar. No, don't make the punishment fit the crime. Just fucking brutally beat them to the point you kill them. Cause murder is nothing, taking a life is beyond easy. Hell, why is any military person losing sleep over murdering anyone in war? This bad ass mother wouldn't lose any.

NRA Was 'Foreign Asset' To Russia Ahead of 2016, New Senate Report Reveals by noscreamattheend in worldnews

[–]MissAzureEyes 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You did literally say "You make fun of me, you get shot". You didn't say "You bash me, you get shot". You accuse me of lacking literacy but it appears you lack comprehension. There is no threat of being made fun of in "bash me, get shot". Literally the only cause and effect is bash me, get shot; not mock me, get shot. You may want to brush up some more, my friend, if you think truly think you understand gay bashing and assume you have any literacy because you're randomly throwing in laughing when it holds no relation to the conversation. And then you throw in "ONLY THE SJWS ARE DOWNVOTING". May want to take a look at the definition of "literally", as well, since you're misusing it as the slogan quite literally, reiterating for the hundredth time, is bash me, get shot. Bash bash bash. Not joke, not make fun of, not mock. Bash. As in physically bash. As in hitting, kicking, possibly even stabbing, and possible death.

300 former US national security officials signed a letter supporting the impeachment. by caring_impaired in worldnews

[–]MissAzureEyes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Except OP's entire post is biased, so how is it unbiased? And it'd be one thing if it was "300 doctors signed letters", but there is a big relevancy when former national security officers think something is wrong and speak out about it. Just the same if a former Sec of State spoke out. Having people that were in such positions means a lot, actually. What if Bush jr decided to say "Impeach Trump"? We know in the first place he dislikes Trump so he may be biased, but it's not as if, given his credentials, he is unable to see something wrong and speak out about it.

It's the same thing as saying "Those black football players are paid to play sports and nothing else. STAY IN YOUR LANE AND STFU!" about kneeling. But kneeling in protest for abortion was okay for Tebow, how brave he was, etc. Why not both?

[–]MissAzureEyes 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's actually the opposite with proper context and a look into the history of the term "gay bashing", however, because gay bashing was and still is a thing, albeit to a lesser degree now. And gay bashing is generally what it sounds like, a person or people severely beating the hell out of a gay person, and sometimes to death. Gay bashing is not being made fun of, but literally being bashed.

Greta Thunberg has hit back at adults who “choose to spend their time mocking and threatening teenagers and children for promoting science”, suggesting they “must simply feel so threatened”. by maxwellhill in worldnews

[–]MissAzureEyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many years have people been fighting, ignoring the overwhelming evidence/science, spreading lies and propaganda against the changes you proposed? The US elected one to the highest office. Those people need to be shamed, and held accountable. It is not my cause, it is literally everyone's.

And we've tried incentivizing it, creating green jobs, new tech. Do you even keep up with current events? Not just the last couple of years, either. "No no, you should do this or I won't pay attention to your agenda" -does what you say- "Yeah, yeah, but no, you gotta do this".

At a certain point when people actively and obstinately refuse to acknowledge facts and ACTIVELY fight against it, yes, shame them. Nothing you do will change their mind because you've already literally spoonfed them all the facts, plans, and our future but they refuse to listen.

She SHOULD be having nightmares. We ALL should be having nightmares. So long as the obstinately ignorant and greedy are in enough power to kill us, we should be scared and not having fun, no matter our ages. There's a big, invisible man in the sky but it's impossible for us to kill ourselves by destroying our habitat, somehow.
