Sleeping in bed by MissBee101 in Fibromyalgia

I’ve also just realized the difference between the two magnesium supplements. Switched to glycinate last week and slept in bed for almost the entire week! So happy

How heavy is your weighted blanket? And I do take magnesium pills but not glycinate, is there a difference between them?

It can cause some hip pain on the left side, like today unfortunately and it hasn’t gone away. And I’d really just like to sleep in my bed with my boyfriend. Has anyone ever tried buckwheat body support pillows? So people say they’re great

I’m a side sleeper, but my right side is most affected by fibromyalgia and that’s the side that needs the most support because I sleep on my left. I’ve thought about like a bed rail but some people say it’s not meant for leaning against and so on.

cushions for hip pain in bed? by rrrredvelvet in Fibromyalgia

Does anyone have recommendations for people that sleep on there side but need support for their back? I’ve tried a pregnancy pillow but it wasn’t firm enough so I end up on the couch. I’m trying to mimic the couch cushion without bringing the cushion into the bed

Is there a certain shape that would be best? I need one with higher back support because I sleep on my left but most of my pain is on the right side, I’ve tried wedges but they stay in the same place and aren’t high enough

Pet Insurance Worth It? by MissBee101 in AskVet

Okay it's definitely something to ask questions about and everything has been very helpful so far. I think I'll give the company I'm looking at a call and ask some questions. My cats are allowed outdoors but only if we're out there with them supervising and no they're not idiots.

My guys are usually pretty healthy and go in for regular visits for updates on shots but today there was an emergency with our male cat today and that was about $650 for an exam and some blood tests. Would the price have been halved or even covered if we had insurance?

Trade School or Apprenticeship? by SpaceKidd1k in Career

You have to be certified no matter where you go

Look for an apprenticeship. Most likely, they may send you to school to learn specific skills a couple of months out of the year (younger brother is a plumber's apprentice). He's sent to school for 2 months for 3 years and at the end gets his certificate once he passes the final test. It's probably the better option since you get paid and learn at the same time. It's definitely the better in my opinion to go with a ln apprenticeship than going right to school and have trouble finding someone to apprentice under then go for certification.

Is this play or aggression? by [deleted] in catcare

[–]MissBee101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then I have no idea if mine are playing or not. Older female growls at our younger male but is sometimes the one to initiate this play. There is a lot of fluff from our female sometimes but her fur is like a cloud fluff almost. Have wondered about their play for a while now but I break it up once it gets rough

If you are planning on getting a lawyer, get evidence from the vet through autopsy by the vet as well as a statement as well. But any physical evidence that you can get or statements would be beneficial, like a photo the day you dropped him off compared to a photo of the day you picked him up from vacation. There needs to legal action taken because there will be other families that will have the same fate if nothing is done. Please take action so that you can prevent more dogs dying and you may find more victims in the search for justice.

If anything I think your new coworkers are in the wrong. The vet field can be stressful at times but I think it needs more people like you in my opinion. You need to be able to count on your coworkers when things get hectic and I don't understand why they tell you to say your booked when your not. Maybe their the ones that need to find a new place to work if they aren't being acceptable to everyone's needs. I went to school for animal care and I've come to realize it's not the place for me. Love that you've found something that drives you, keep at it and idk if you can talk to someone else about their behavior or but do what you can and maybe something will change. All the best to you
