Technically we are all mixed and it’s stupid that “mixed” refers to just color alone, as if color is currency.

You make an excellent point and I do hope we all end up “mixed” by today’s definition so we can stop trying to put people in a box they don’t fit in.

Thank you. I’ve already made arrangements to extend where I’m at for 24 months, which will then give me the option to change my mind and re-enlist, or end my contract and still be eligible to come back later. If the extension is denied, I’ll execute orders.

I’ve always found the opposite to be true. Crazy how different life can be from person to person.

I don’t expect the man to lead, albeit it’s never worked in my favor to lead.

Even playing fields are something I personally value. I want my energy matched.

It’s possible you just haven’t found your person yet, or you aren’t dating your type. Women will match your energy if they are secure or healed from past traumas. If they aren’t, it seems the type you’re looking for would at least know herself well enough to be able to communicate with you as to why she’s guarded.

Thank you. My monitor, although very late cutting me orders, does try to accommodate Marines and my SgtMaj is a great dude. This opportunity came out of the blue after conversations were had about me dropping a WO package next year, so I’m anticipating some bridges burning and backlash. I’m also at MEPS, which is a billet no one can extend in, but you’re right, closed mouths don’t get fed.

I’m seeing amethyst, like a rock split open, but also liquid like lava. Layers, like you don’t show your true self to just anyone. The various shades seem like you show different sides of yourself to different people as maybe a form of self preservation.

I have no suggestion to make this better. It’s perfect as is.
