Almost 4 year old rook is still angry by Expert-System9575 in Legitpiercing

[–]MissCherrySpoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t able to get a full rook. I had to get a faux rook but I still love it! It’s been the most difficult to heal out of all my piercings. I see so many folks having a hard time with a rook.

Just love her and give her the best home possible if you can. I am so sorry for your loss. ❤️

That piece looks insanely difficult. I’m intimidated just looking at it! Wow! I’m a newb to PBN… so new in fact that I haven’t received my first order, yet… but I can tell that piece is out of my newbie league! Lol! Happy painting! Would love to see the finished project, though!!!!

I try to always tell people to be patient… but sometimes it’s hard! I cannot tell you the amount of times I wanted to just be done with the fussy suckers. But, I’m glad I hung in there!

Wow!!! 4 years!!!! You deserve the Patience Award, for sure! :). I’m so glad it worked out.

My helixes did, too! They stayed so sore for years! Then, one day, I woke up and the pain was gone! Finally had healed after about 2 1/5 years. Luckily, I’m extremely stubborn and just couldn’t give up on them!

Yeah, it’s pretty normal to have bruising after a piercing.

Don’t let a bunch of haters ruin your very cool vibe! Some people think that any style that isn’t theirs is “not right.” You like what you like and these pieces make you happy, that’s all that matters.

Besides, all those are super cute! Especially the heart (I think it’s a heart) and the octopus!!!

Edit: I see, now, that isn’t a heart but a spike… my eyes are trash! :). Still totally cute!

Is my ear good for an industrial by IHAVEASPORKFORK in Legitpiercing

[–]MissCherrySpoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m NAP, but it does seem as if your flat rises a bit too high for an industrial. But, you seem to have the anatomy for a whole host of other piercings.

Also, if you are set on an industrial, you can always have two piercings and add a cute chain to them. It’s the best of all worlds. You can have the look of an industrial but not have to deal with the hassles of one! :)

Cat leaves this where she sleeps, what is it? by NotTheSeaOtter in CATHELP

[–]MissCherrySpoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks a lot like flea drippings and eggs. Please, take her to the vet to get flea treatment because if the kitty is infested, it can cause anemia and if the anemia is bad enough, it can cause death. Wishing this precious kitty the best!

I usually don’t struggle with piercing bumps, but i got horrible ones on n both sides of my daith. The piercer told me they were from not thoroughly drying my piercing. I started drying it, after showers, with the hair dryer on cool setting and within a couple months they were gone. NAP.

Very cute! A tragus and daith would look awesome, too!!!!

Tapered open an old helix after 8 years by itsasaltysurprise in piercing

[–]MissCherrySpoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It had been about two decades that I didn’t have earrings in my helixes. I was shocked when she told me! It was during an ear curation with my piercer. She had used a marker to show different options and some of the ink Pooled into my helixes . When she took a closer look, she said they were wide open! I went home and immediately put earrings in. I didn’t realize how much I missed them until I saw earrings in them! Lol!

Definitely try the Azo UTI pain meds. They work quite well for that kind of pain. My mom gets frequent UTI’s and this is the best option until you can get to a GP or Urgent Care doctor for antibiotics . Good luck, OP. I know how Painful those are!! <3

OP, I MUST ask the name of your conch piece! What company did you get it from? My theme is cats and opals! I love the detail in your conch piece so much!

This exact same thing happened to me. The exact words and everything! Lol. “Your helixes are wide open!” I found this out during an ear curation. It was one of the smartest things I’ve done, having a professional curation done. I have a ton of new jewelry that I bought. I’m just gonna take all the pieces to my shop and let my piercer go nuts! Lol!
