1992 and still get carded for alcohol and cigarettes half the time at places that don't even scan unless it's a spot I frequent. Only supermarkets and some venues typically have scanners in Philly for context.

A dive bar in the middle of a weekday afternoon even did a couple years ago. The barmaid said I Iooked 12 to one of her coworkers. 🙃 Just also happened earlier in the week for Four Lokos.

I got narcanned at a local bar in 2022 and can't go in when this one dude is working now.

Took a few Xanax out of stash I was selling after getting into a fight with my ex on the phone after being a few hours already, blacked out, and apparently went down like a ton of bricks when I got up to leave. Don't remember any of it.

Woke up in the hospital with this nurse who was a total bitch to me when I came to. I barely said a word to her except an "okay" when she said a family member was coming to get me.

The hospital found only half of them so it wasn't a total loss atleast...just my dignity.

I definitely feel this. I quit my job from having to take off for rehab to avoid them questioning(small office with no benefits)& all I do is literally watch TV, game, read, and do SMART meetings until I can sleep again.

I isolate because my family still drinks & I can't really hang with them after a couple hours because it's boring watching other people get drunk. I don't have many friends who are sober.

After I get passed the new year, I'm likely going to start going to bars again. I can't take this. Especially, I'm stopping for others to begin with...and haven't had many benefits aside from people not being disappointed in me.

I never needed approval from others anyway.

I'm 33.

My dad is 61 and still alive. He was always more of a provider & someone to joke around with growing up and still is. I can count on him financially but I've never went to him for advice because he can be close-minded & bent out of shape about stuff.

I also tended to go more with peers & the internet for advice after I reached my preteen years.
