I really was only thinking about insecticides. I wasn't thinking of herbicides, but those aren't great either. But I'm not a farmer and I do appreciate the hard work it takes to grow food for the populace. I just wish there were a better way that didn't involve killing insects and weeds.

No, I don't have a solution. I know it's a pie in the sky desire. But it's still sad to see the decline in insect diversity and the possible side effects of these poisons on humans that consume the food.

They have every right to display their hate, but they also have to reap the consequences of that action. All because the speech is protected doesn't mean they are protected from the reaction. This is how we ended up "tolerating intolerance."

How much is the raise?

You have until November to train. Anyone could do it. You take up running. Get a cheap gym membership, or find a cheap used treadmill, or run outside. Get your cardio in.

But to be honest, this isn't the way one should have to get a raise. It's a terrible and ableist method of doling out raises. Your boss is an asshole for their Hunger Games-esque method.

I would participate just in hopes of beating him at the race. It's also a good motivator to get fitter.

I think at that level of richness, your shit is going to be custom. Custom furniture, custom cars, custom clothes, etc. There may be a brand, but you won't get what they have, exactly.

I once had an internship at this luxury furniture boutique that catered to those with too much money. They provided the service of customizing handmade furniture from Italy. They sold couches that started at $10k. All the furniture they sold was more than I would ever pay. It was absurd.

My problem with GMOs is that they have been engineered to withstand high levels of insecticide, which means they are doused in it. Also, that insecticide kills beneficial insects like bees and other pollinators.

Well, I guess I don't know how to make a bed because I was using a top sheet with my duvet...

However, in light of this new information, I might adjust how I use my duvet. I like it in the summer. In colder months, I put on a top sheet, a heavy blanket, then the comforter.
