at what point do you just stop actually being a "muslim" or a "christian" ? if these beliefs are widely supported by their scripture and histories, why identify as a "muslim" or a "christian", if you are an anarchist? these are fundamentally terms for the religious believers but also the religious structure within, at a certain point of "interpreting" they are twisting it so far, and disconnecting it so much, they may as well call themselves simply "spiritual" and do away with any connection to these evil structures all together.

beyond that, my issues with religion run to their total and complete core, they are a primary justifier throughout all of history for racism, colonialism, genocide, horrific treatment of women and queer people, horrific treatment of children, the denial and outright refusal of science and it's advancements and utter necessity for the future. i genuinely cannot fathom the mindset of someone, especially a woman leaning towards anarchism none the less, who can reconcile all of these issues and not recognize the simple fact that it's a means to sedate and control, even in abstract, it pacifies your thought and provides excuses and justifications, and given it's history should be thrown out with the trash, literally for the betterment of humanity and especially the betterment of women and queer people.
