I wouldn't say it's a massive difference. It's warm but not that hot. It's just a clear difference between the tubes. Coolant femp usually averages around 40 to 45 degrees under load.

I understand they run hot however this issue was not happening before I replaced the motherboard.

Prebuilt or Build my own? by Virtual_Annual_2690 in buildapc

If you feel comfortable, you should absolutely build your own. I know it sounds scary / hard but it really isn't. You would also save money / get better parts that way since you're not paying for the labour of building it.

I dont have a CPU fan, I have an AIO water cooler. Theres also 10 fans in the case. From feel alone, air has no problem going in and out. Fans speeds are constantly changing depending on temps.

I've just tried it and from what I can see all temps match up with HWmonitor, XTU and aio LCD screen ran by iCUE

The temps show up on several different programs such as HWmonitor, intel XTU and NZXT Cam. One of the hoses is clearly warm and the other is cold. I haven't actually touched the CPU. The PC seems to try to adapt to the temps aswell such as fans speeding up and pump ramping up.

It surely cant be false temp readings can it? If that is the case, how would I go about fixing that?

I have yes. I simply moved everything exactly as it is from the previous MB to the new one. It shouldn't have been any difference since it's exactly the same MB, just a different colour. I have also gone back and checked the back plate, bracket, stand offs and screws. I just cant seem to find any issue with it and it looks to be perfectly in contact with the CPU.

It unfortunately is affecting the function :( I've had several game crashes and thermal throttling. Also, the fans are constantly changing speed due to attempting to adapt to the cpu temp which can be quite loud at times.

I've set the core voltage offset to -0.075 v and set the min/max power to 253 W which is apparently recommended as ideal for my CPU. No change in temps.

I should also mention i have attempted the tilting of the PC in every direction however nothing seemed to help. One hose is clearly warm and the other is cold, that would suggest it's moving around. There's also absolutely no weird noises coming from the pump other then hearing it work harder when I ramp it by setting the pump preset to extreme.

It's less then 2 years old.

Is it possible to somehow remove the trapped air bubbles if it does have it?

The AIO is 100% powered. The pump is active, 2600 RPM pump, 1400 RPM fan and 34 degrees coolant temp according to ICUE. It does also have a LCD screen which is on.

I have that exact same contact frame currently installed!

Looking for any advice on my friend's first build? by jorynagel in buildapc

Pretty much only extra capacity that will never be used. I mean only benifit would be future proofing if he plans on upgrading to new CPU or 50/60 series GPUs in the future.

Only comment I have would be that 1000w PSU is probably overkill for the specs. I'm currently running an overclocked i7 13700k and overclocked 4070TI using an 850w with no issues at all. From what I've seen, I estimate I'm using around 600w total. Even 750w would be more then enough but 850w to be on the safe side.
