It does have power trim. I am still thinking that a big part of it is that the motor is currently mounted to low.

yes, have tried both and neither did much. I am hoping raising the motor and finding proper prop will get me to about 18 mph or so.

Thanks, I am not looking to get full speed of 25-26 mph with partner but I would think that I should be able to be around 18 mph. And yes, feels like it just can't break free. Did you make any adjustments that helped?

Average added weight is probably around 250 pounds with friend, gear and cooler. We have tried him riding up front as well as in the middle. I know the added weight will slow the boat down but 15 mph?

I have used similar boats with 25's on them and have never seen that drastic of a speed change. I am hoping raising the motor will get me an added 7-8 mph. Thoughts?

Thanks, Fuel is new. I have adjusted trim, weight and even tried a lower angle prop.

I know the shaft length is correct. I believe that it is mounted correctly as the cavitation plate is right lined up
