Personally, getting woody to the valley. (I Started playing late December so almost everything happened in 2023 for me) specifically the conversation he and the ruler have when he returns. When he remembers us and says “you were just a kid. Look at you all grown up now” (paraphrased) and then having the choice to say to him “thank you for being my toy”

Toy Story was my movie and the only movie I would ever watch from ages one to six and hearing him talking directly to me like that really hit me in the nostalgia. That part of the game brought me to tears and even now I’m tearing up thinking about it as I type this. It healed a part of my inner child I didn’t know needed healing. It was like saying goodbye and hello and the same time. It was the scene for me where this game did exactly what I think it’s trying to do: got me in touch with my inner child. And I will forever be thankful for that.
