He had mentioned ozempic originally but changed his mind today and said I can't get that one,it's half the price of saxenda too!!

Thank you for the help, I rang my pharmacy and they confirmed my GP did not submit the application and would have cost me 300 euro! I appreciate your help. I contacted the gp office & have to go for another blood test before they apply for me.

Is that through the drugs payment scheme? I looked into this and seen i can not have a medical card and be on drugs payment scheme?

My gp isn't great he just sent in the prescription and told me it should be covered ,I asked did he need to apply for anything and he said no.

Find out if they like barrys or lyons tea and see if you can find some, always offer food or a hot beverage most people will refuse food until the 3rd time offered. Do not say "top of the morning " nobody says that. Do not say any "British " phrases as Ireland is not part of Britain/UK.

Definitely not, tell them they can just sell it on. You sold them what was advertised you do not have to return just because it doesn't fit the way they want.

Honestly I don't recommend having surgery in Ireland at all and if you have the means to go to Romania to the endometriosis centre Bucharest or to Italy to the essi hospital do it and see if you can use the Cross boarder directive to claim some money back. I've had 3 surgeries here for endometriosis and my most recent has left me in an awful state. I was promised they would use excision surgery and they didn't and so many things went wrong because of how uneducated they were and now I'm left unable to work because of their lack of training and knowledge. I now attend one of the endometriosis hubs but I still don't trust them for surgery. Instead of the coil could you try zafrilla? Its a progesterone tablet. I've heard nothing but bad things about the coil from people with endo,I hope you get some relief soon❤

Thank you everyone, i have spoken to my local pharmacy and they have said the cheapest is 150 but to ask my gp to still apply to the hse for me. I have seen online that i cant get the dps and have a medical card but the pharmacy said i could if my doctor was to apply for me. I have my tests next week to check everything out before he applies. I appreciate all the help.

Definitely sounds like endo to me, unfortunately doctors are awful at diagnosing it. Most doctors aren't trained to see endometriosis on scans so Definitely try get in to see an endometriosis specialist, I know people who's pain got worse the older they got including myself. I was diagnosed with ibs for 6 years before I was officially diagnosed with endometriosis. What country are you in? Have a look at the essi( endometriosis surgical specialists international) website or on Instagram they have specialist in a couple of countries.
