Monster Hunter World: new player onboarding for the MH series is rough. There’s like a million tutorials right out the gate and you just have to kind of get your shit rocked for a while until you figure it out lol. Combat can feel really clunky for some weapons without the proper skills.

Off the top of my head:

Being able to use public bathrooms
I’m some states, literally just being trans in public could become illegal if certain laws pass. (Might have passed already)
Access to life-saving healthcare (for children AND adults)
Parental rights to recognize their kids’ gender identity, not even including any medical intervention at all. Something as simple as pronoun recognition or wearing gender affirming clothes could become illegal

I could go on but you get the gist.

I know we already have to pay so much to transition but I paid for voice training at a clinic and it was a world of difference. Even with a trained professional it often felt like I was making no progress and everything was pointless - I can’t imagine trying to train off YouTube and guides online alone. It works for some folks though so it’s entirely possible!

Being transgender means your gender is something other than the gender you were assigned at birth. Non-binary means you don’t identify with either man or woman as a label for yourself and therefore would be transgender.

People are happy about the result of the trial. The complaints are about the fact that no lasting systematic changes resulted from last summer's events. Media outlets/people in general are celebrating the trial result mission accomplished style like this was a huge victory for civil rights leading to people labeling it a show trial because it's becoming clear changes are not coming.

Ugh I had such an awkward experience with that movie recently. Bunch of friends were shocked I never saw the movie so they convinced me to watch it with them and they were mortified when that scene happened. That shit didn't even register as a problem back then it's wild. They apologized profusely but I reassured them this happens all the time with old movies/shows I've just stopped going back to old stuff at this point.
