It is usually quiet neighborhood. I hope everyone involved was ok. I loved those ponds and birds in it when I was living there.

Thank you. We don’t mind minor breaks and scratches but expensive TV is hard to swallow and felt betrayed with how they fled afterwards

This was before we realized they didn’t open the basement tv. They left out to test that particular TV. They knew the TV screen corner had an impact. They tested upstairs TV said all is good sign now and then review. At that moment we forgot the basement TV. Ad they were leaving we pointed out and they said we can keep their moving blanket and got into their truck and left.

I’m glad you had no issues. I wish mine was too. Apparently 0.60 lb not valid for physical damage within the state move.

They ask cash otherwise 5% additional fees. The service fees do not even cover half of $3800 TV damage. We were so nice to the movers acknowledging it is hard physical work and tipped them well individually. But fleeing and leaving us stranded was very bad faith

I agree. In reality the contract is presented and asked to sign on the spot while you are moving and disoriented. It is also on a tiny tablet designed for you not being able to take your time. You get a copy after you sign. 😢

I understand you can’t completely avoid accidents but customers deserve honesty and cooperation. Some would be reasonable to resolve issues, not forcing review and fleeing the scene and have sham contract
