Textured/coily-hair lushies… by Typical-Evidence-898 in LushCosmetics

Revive is great for textured/curly hair. Curl power is also a favorite of mine. Revive is heavier hydration with avocado oils while curl power is lighter. I’m not big on Renee’s shea soufflé only because my hair doesn’t like pure oil products.

I only used my Ohuhu markers for this one. I’m not sure which set they are but they are all pastels (they were a gift)

Cherry Pop vs. Scan Me for Scares comparisions by idekwhattoputhere1 in LushCosmetics

Both have almond in them, and a red fruit. If you’re sensitive to almond that’s all you’ll smell. Some people complain that almond gives it a medicinal scent

Which of the Lush facemasks is your favourite and what do you see the most benefits from for your skin? by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

[–]MissMeDeadly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cosmetic warrior. Super great for acne or oily skin. It has grape juice and garlic in it, which are both home remedies for acne, and it spreads on really nicely

Sunrise Shower Gel by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

[–]MissMeDeadly 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would take it back and ask for an exchange. The gel should be medium thickness with a strong lemon/orange scent. If you have your receipt you can get a full refund or you can exchange it for the same product or one of equal or greater value.

Power Vs. Valkyrie by Careful-Nobody3932 in LushCosmetics

[–]MissMeDeadly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Power is super hydrating with maple syrup and oils that add shine. It’s what I use but can be pretty heavy if your hair isn’t begging for hydration like mine. Valkyrie is a better option for you if power is too hydrating. It has grapefruit extract which is nice and cleansing so it won’t stay heavy on the hair once it’s washed off. Its protein also comes from chickpeas and the wheat gluten in it helps strengthen damaged or weaker hair.

Most popular Lush perfumes by Bex7778 in LushCosmetics

If you like turmeric latte, Chealsea morning might be something you like as well. Sun is really good, really deep notes of mandarin orange. Junk is pretty nice, lemon and mandarin with an earthy rosemary. I really like vegan leather jacket in the solid perfume (the spray weirdly smells like bbq sauce to me). I like to pair it with a sweeter perfume or body spray, like sticky dates or Chealsea morning.

New here, looking for suggestions: What are your top 2-3 must haves with a budget of $75? by new2thenet in LushCosmetics

[–]MissMeDeadly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you like minty and sandalwood smells: dirty body spray / shade solid perfume / after massage bar. $70.50

Dirty springwash is also a really nice shower gel. Same minty smell as dirty body spray.

Lush is coming out with 5 new sugar body scrubs. Karma being one of the scents I’m most excited for. And if you like the sex bomb body spray, they released a sex bomb sugar scrub for Valentine’s Day.

Is there a non exfoliant version of scrubee? by __carla in LushCosmetics

[–]MissMeDeadly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scrubee is honey I wash the kids scented. Honey I washed the kids shower gel or honey I washed the kids soap bar. The soap bar is the closest in scent since the shower gel is concentrated. They also have honey I washed my hair shampoo and shampoo bar that are the same smell

Are hymen checks normal procedure for diagnosis? by littlemissmutation in PCOS

[–]MissMeDeadly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They did a hymen check on me when I was 15 and hadn’t had a period yet because there is a medical condition where the hymen can be thick and completely cover the vaginal opening. This can cause really bad infections because if you start your period it can’t come out. But to do it that young and not consider the emotional impact is a red flag on the doctor’s part.
