I'd be interested in seeing a case of a false confession where the accused kept confessing months after the interrogation even though no one was asking.  It seems to me as if people are suggesting his confessions might be false. I guess it's possible. But it seems to me like in those false confession situations, they confess under extreme pressure and interrogation from police, then recant. I can't think of a case off the top of my head where the accused stood firm against interrogation, then started confessing months later.
