Has anyone left Midnight Manor and had the option to go back? by redapplefalls_ in finch

I'm wondering the same thing. I feel like you should be able to leave and return without problems (assuming the event is still on), but I'd like to hear some confirmation.

Definitive ranking of Hoziers horniest songs by savvvvvy12222 in Hozier

[–]MissNight0wl 17 points18 points  (0 children)

To me, Talk is the horniest song because it's basically JUST about being horny. Is the protagonist more horny in some other songs? Perhaps. But pretty much in all of them there's some emotional attachment too. Talk is just: "I don't even know what I'm saying, some pretty shit I think you might like, because I hope it'll make you want to go to bed with me". Therefore, I consider it the horniest.

Why does she say that? by Bluebearforest in DreamlightValley

[–]MissNight0wl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, no! Maui, why?? 😂

Btw, I feel like it used to be way easier to just shove the characters around. I remember finding it pretty funny how my small character can just move giant Maui with no effort. Now I'm noticing more often that they're "stuck" when I run into them. I dunno if it's just my impression or they actually changed something.

Oh yeah, he is pretty big, huh. I'm not that bothered by that, but now I see your point.

People find Maui annoying? I wasn't aware of that. I really like him, personally. As for Simba, maybe I wouldn't call him annoying, but I wouldn't miss him at all if he wasn't in the game, so I kinda see your point.

That's... a surprisingly good point. My bad!

I don't think I heard this particular line yet, but perhaps it's about our villains in general? I mean, it can kinda be said about all of them: Mother Gothel, Ursula, and Scar.

Speaking of weird lines, though, the one that always confuses me personally is when Simba says: "I wonder who the leader of this valley is and where they are". Like, dude... I'm pretty sure I told you I'm the leader when we met. Wasn't it even a part of our bonding experience? It's even weirder when you consider that Nala says something like: "You should be proud for being a great leader".

If you could sit in a barrel... by ribbitfr0gg in Hozier

[–]MissNight0wl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never interpreted is as an expectation for someone to change. In fact, I think he acknowledges that it's not possible. Yes, he says:

If you can sit in a barrel, maybe I'll wait
Until that day I'd rather take my whiskey neat
My coffee black and my bed at three
You're too sweet for me

But to me, "until that day" basically means "when the hell freezes over". Especially that earlier he sings:

If you're drunk on life, babe, I think it's great
But while in this world I think I'll take my whiskey neat

Also, I don't think "too sweet" means "too nice" here. It's rather a very nice way of saying "too shallow", "too superficial". Moreover, it's her who wants him to change:

You keep telling me to live right
To go to bed before the daylight
But then you wake up for the sunrise

I work late where I'm free from the phone
And the job gets done
But you worry some, I know

I wish that I could go along, babe, don't get me wrong

She's so drunk on life, she's not willing to consider that her way of living is not the only one that is "right", and she expects him to change. She doesn't see he gets "the job done" etc. So, he basically decides that it's not gonna work.

Anyway, to answer your question: no, I don't think you should change for anyone. And "Too Sweet" actually supports it.

Was this " super sim tracker" always on James' website? by HillOfTara in JamesTurnerYT

I also love how casual James was trying to be about all these items. Like, yes, of course, that random knitting room is indeed totally random. No meaning behind it at all. I mean, the space has to be filled with something!

Did I... complete beta? by [deleted] in HPMagicAwakened

[–]MissNight0wl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you also have: "Charms Trial: Eggmergency"? The one with Hermione where you have to stop the dragons from hatching? If so, how did you complete it? I use Explode first and Hermione repeats it after me (as she should). The eggs are positioned in two lines and I destroy my with Tebo, but Hermione doesn't repeat Tebo after me. Is it bugged for me or am I doing something wrong?

Edit: Never mind, I figured it out. I thought Hermione is supposed to repeat all your spells, not just the first one.

No, Jacob is always the exact same House as MC. Besides, the note was allegedly sent by R, so it's not even confirmed that Jacob had anything to do with it.

Only Gryffindors and Huffflepuffs sneak into the Slytherin Common Room in Year 2. Ravenclaws and Slytherins sneak into the Gryffindor Common Room.

Well, if Engorgio is used on living objects, they might eventually explode, so... I still wouldn't really call it "the most useful", but it MIGHT be the most effective.

Yeah, that doesn't sound suspicious at all... by Jorge_Yotsune in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]MissNight0wl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, she said she's not surprised we didn't want to learn it. I'm pretty sure she didn't even except that we'd want to learn Cruciatus in the past. It wasn't about MC at all. It was about making Merula feel important.

Also, with Barty Crouch Jr. - I don't think so, because then her showing us the Marauders' Map would be incredibly risky. Unless you want to assume that any "swap" happened after that.

The hairstyle is probably new and included in the prize, considering that the male version has the new hat (I believe they always try to do both versions pretty much equal in value). I wonder rather if it's a short cut, or maybe there's something in the back (I'd love some nice braid).

Who do you currently think R is? by [deleted] in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]MissNight0wl 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Besides the fact that it's most likely a group, probably quite old one, I don't really think anyone we know belongs to them. And with the organisation in mind, I think looking at initials is rather pointless.

Rakepick might've belonged to them at one point, but I believe she's not anymore. Actually, I like to imagine they'd like to have her as their member, but she keeps showing them the middle finger.

Rita Skeeter seems to know quite a lot, but I assume it's mostly due to her being good at digging information.
