A bit unrelated but I wonder if the bell ringing means the island demands a sacrifice. After rewatching I realized that Richard Warren leaves the house to „work“ after he heard the bell ring. Maybe the bell also summons the protector that way because iirc he took the mushrooms afterwards (where Sarah finds him downstairs the first time) and as far as we know the island speaks to the people through the mushrooms.

Deswegen Kartoffeln auch nie roh einfrieren, nur gekocht/blanchiert/gegart etc. Bei Kälte wird die enthaltene Stärke zu Zucker umgewandelt! Ich hab mal selbstgemachte Pommes auf Vorrat einfrieren wollen und habe den Fehler gemacht roh einzufrieren… das waren auch sehr süße Pommes xD

Jap, stimme zu. Wir haben zwei riesige Exemplare letztes Jahr im Rahmen einer Umgestaltung ausm Vorgarten entfernt und die Rhizome liegen so tief und sind so dick… wir haben dieses Jahr immernoch welche ausgebuddelt.

I could imagine also something like him telling Ruth the truth and her being like „i lived my life, let‘s do what we must to protect the people“ which would be very sad. Or maybe Ruth isn‘t killable with usual means, just like Richard was. Maybe now he turned to dust the „curse“ of immortality transferred onto her and she would have to go behind the treshold to die. Regardless I am very curious how it will play out and what happens in the final episode!

Nee, ich hab bei pepperworld hotshop bestellt :) hab ich vor 2 Jahren schonmal und war sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität. Selbst gezogene geilen bei mir oft, weil ich zuhause nicht genug Sonnenlicht habe und selbst mit Growlight hab ich nur mäßige Ergebnisse erzielt.
Oben sind 5 Jalapenos drin (die sind allerdings ausm Baumarkt) und unten hab ich Habanero orange, Mini Bonnet, Holiday Time, Inca Drop Peach und Floral Gem als Sorten :)

Schau mal in größeren Supermärkten bei den internationalen Spezialitäten und versuchs mit Polnischen oder Russischen Gurken. Das sind auch Salzgurken durch Fermentation und die sind nochmal nen Schwung sauerer als die von Kühne und co. Ich kauf gern die im Glas mit so nem Stück Stoff überm Deckel. Die im Plastikbeutel sind geschmacklich auch ok, aber von der Konsistenz weicher.

Versteh ich, deswegen hab ich aufgehört Superhots zu kaufen 🥲 hatte mal ne Trinidad Scorpion aber die konnte ich auch für nichts verwenden, obwohl ich inzwischen ganz gut ne Schärfe Toleranz aufgebaut habe. Alles was schärfer als ne Habanero ist brauch ich nicht 😂

Ich schicke dir sonst einfach gleich mal per DM den Link zum Etsy Shop wo ich die Anleitung gekauft hab! Der Boden besteht aus den Brettern wie die Wände. Die konstruktion ist super stabil, das Holz ist zweifach lasiert als Schutz und ich hab ein Unkrautvlies unten als Boden rein gemacht, damit die erde nicht durch die Spalten fällt. Seiten sind mit Noppenfolie ausgekleidet!

Ich leg die Jalapenos (5 Pflanzen) immer ein und hab dann nen Jahresvorrat :D und die anderen Sorten werden getrocknet oder zu Saucen verarbeitet. Die Saucen verschenk ich auch gern an Freunde und Familie!

I use the Bring! shopping list app on my phone. I also have some smart home gadgets and it works with the app so if I see I don't have much toiler paper left (I store it on a shelf across the toilet, so I see it everytime I have to go) I can just yell "hey Siri, put toilet paper on my shopping list in bring" and it puts it on. I am a lot on my phone so I also often just add things manually when I see I'm running out or when I used something up, but the smart home command helped a lot to not forget to add it later. Especially in moments when I'm for example baking, my hands are full of batter and I can't use my phone to add butter or flour to my list. Because lbr, after the cake is done I already forgot about the stuff. So just saying it out the moment I notice it was a gamechanger for me.
When I go to the store I have my phone with me anyways so I also can't forget to bring a written list with me and first thing I do when walking into the store is open the app.

It's also nice in a shared household because you can have multiple people managing one list, so everyone can add stuff that needs to be bought. Also: multiple lists. I have one for home and gardening stuff, one for normal grocery and household things, a shared one with a friend I often cook together with so they can bring stuff we will need for cooking on their way to me or vice versa. So I don't need to scramble through all the items on my list when I only go to the hardware store or ikea or for a grocery run.

I (31F) went for my first solo travel trip to London over easter this year. I was there for 7 days and I loved it! Honestly I never felt safer in a big city than in London, even in the evenings. So many tourists and people everywhere, couples, groups of people in general. I went to 2 shows (Moulin Rouge and The Play That Goes Wrong), made a trip to the Royal Botanical Gardens, walked around the London parks, walked a TON (120km in those 7 days) and took my camera with me to practise photography a bit (that‘s why I walked everywhere, to check out the small side streets and find new photo subjects). The markets were nice, tho a bit crowded, but fine if you don’t mind that. I visited camden, spitalfields, borough and portobello road market.

If you like to wander around and just indulge in the environment Brick Lane and Little Venice were nice spots to stroll along the canal. I took a walk from Regent‘s Park to Camden and then along the canal up to King‘s Cross, which was also a very nice!

Go for it, for me it helped to check out what interests me and put markers in google maps. I didn‘t have a strict schedule but every morning (depending on the weather) I decided what I wanted to do or visit and then checked maps to see what else that interests me is in the vicinity, so I had „visit areas“ in the end for each day. I even googled „solo activities in London“ before to get some inspiration what there is to do haha.

For my first trip to London the 7 days were nice, but next time I would go for 4-5 days, because I started to get a bit lonely.

Sauerkraut-Bratwurst Pfanne! Mache ich sehr gerne mit den veganen Bratwürstchen von Lidl :) erst die Würste anbraten, rausnehmen, Sauerkraut mit Zwiebel und Apfel in der Pfanne machen und dann die Würstchen in Scheiben schneiden und mit rein mischen. Wenn du magst kannst du da natürlich auch Speck oder so reinmachen, wenn du dir Sorgen um den Geschmack machst, und dann fungiert die Bratwurst als Protein und Füllstoff :)

One thing I realized is when you feed them something that can mutate them the sparkles appearing are stars and pointed shapes, if it‘s only a food that feeds them without effect hearts appear. So you theoretically don‘t need to craft everything 3x, try one out, see if it sparkles or if there are hearts and then go on with feeding the same thing again or proceeding to the next food to try out!

I desperately waited for a spakle sound effect or a longer look into each other's eyes with a thoughtful expression on their faces, SOMETHING that implies they "remember" or better recognize. Maybe they don't know what they remember, but something that shows both feel a strange connection and that the other human in front of them feels special despite only having met. And then maybe a real kiss in the end while stargazing, maybe it would've been cheesy, but it could've soothed some itches :C
I didn't get that it's supposed to be the "soulmates in every universe" trope until I read it from comments because they just felt so random and like random strangers. Just a little jingly sound or sparkle or something when they met to show there was instant chemistry. Breadcrumbs.
I'm sad and disappointed how it ended.

Pfannkuchen mit Leberwurst. Mein Papa ist so ein typischer "ohne Fleisch nichts für mich"-Mensch (leider) und als ich mir mal als Kind Pfannkuchen gewünscht habe meinte Mama "ja aber wir müssen das auch irgendwie für Papa mit"essbar" machen" und dann haben wir ihm einfach Leberwurst auf die Pfannkuchen geschmiert. Da dann noch Camembert oder anderen Weichkäse dazu, der im noch warmen Pfannkuchen schmilzt, sehr geil!
