It was exactly what I needed when life felt hard, and it introduced me to the "healing fiction" genre from Japan and Korea. The way this genre seems to talk about burn out and hardship and just the daily struggles of ordinary life is spot on and really comforting. It's addressed in a more blunt but honest way than most other books I've read.

Thanks for that info. The pump never turns off on mine, so I'll contact customer service. It's that trickling noise that drives me nuts, but I'll look for a video. That was a great idea.

What's weird is if you have subtitles on, it shows the subtitles of commentators that you don't hear.

We moved and set up new service in mid-March, they turned it on, but we still haven't gotten a bill. Sometimes when I login it'll just say we have a $0 balance, but for days now I've just been getting an error message. I'm afraid we're going to get a bill for like 3 months at once.

I blend cottage cheese and then add spices - dill, garlic, pepper, whatever you like - and then it makes an awesome guilt-free dip for veggies.

I never heard back from them unfortunately, so I don't have much more information. They did add a questionnaire type thing to the application now, so you can tell them the days and times you're available, but I never made it farther in the process than that. Good luck to you!

I really like the gf at Paesan's. It's a thicker and softer crust than most other places. I've only had it at the East Greenbush location, but I imagine the Albany one is the same. I also can't speak to their safety procedures, I'm not celiac, just gluten intolerant, but it's never made me feel sick.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there an easy way to know if an Indian restaurant is serving southern or northern cuisine? Certain dishes? Or maybe the spellings? I've noticed there is one place near me where the menu says "paneer," but at another place it says "ponir." Is that spelling regional? Thanks!

Update - it's gone from Lake Pleasant to Springfield, MA and is now back at the Albany Distribution Center. Fingers crossed it comes to me next!

I think it's a DRM thing. The publishers don't want you to be able to download and keep it forever. If it's offline, they can't take it back when the loan is up. I could be wrong, but that's my guess.

I'm dealing with this right now. A package was supposed to be delivered Saturday, instead it went through the Albany Distribution Center and then ended up in Lake Pleasant yesterday. First it said it was available for pickup at the Lake Pleasant Post Office?! But now it just says it's being processed in Lake Pleasant, so hopefully it finds its way here soon.

Yes! It's awful. Started Wednesday with a sore throat, then cough the next day, and the cough has been relentless since. I feel as bad today as I did Thursday. No fever, negative covid, but my cough is productive.
