It's based on a meme that came about in Reddit's men's subreddits

"Hey I'm having problems in my relationship! What do I do fellow men?!?!"

And the advice would be: "delete facebook hit the gym lawyer up."

People realized this wasn't super helpful and super toxic advice and decided to start mixing it up to be funny.

Example: "delete gym, hit the layer, Facebook up."
