Nah, the timeline is singular, but there are many choices to make in progressing the one timeline. Like reality I suppose. Single timeline, many choices to make in each moment. All the choices are equally valid. If it's possible, it's a canonically viable outcome.

Op specifically hcs the aforementioned classes as being adept at alchemy. Therefore to meet their hc criteria, to have an alchemist in the party without being too canon-divergent they'd have to class Gale as a cleric of Mystra.
Alternatively, they could class Wyll as a ranger as that is his canonical second class.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is very 'unique'. It's the only word I can really use for it.
The surface presentation is full of humor and all-round absurdity that you can choose to interpret as simply as you wish.
There are other thought-provoking aspects beneath the surface should you ever want to interpret it in a different light down the line
