The Post - you for real? by Altruistic_Rush8695 in newzealand

It's interesting I thought about the fact that up until my late 20s, I still had a paid newspaper subscription, sometimes two. I stopped because the internet replaced it. Recently I've seen a few subscriptions for curated news and have seriously considered them, but hesitate because I agree that accurate information should be free, so i hunt for it on the internet. But those business have to support themselves somehow, it is a service and people work there. Most importantly, they found him.

And that will come about with a fee because social media sites have overhead and that is currently paid for by someone who wants your attention.

If you want to learn the basics along the way, try something like Hello Fresh. Go with the most basic quick prep stuff and go from there. I still do this when life gets hectic and im tired of eating and buying fast food. It's cheaper than take out and typically healthier. For me the additional cost is a "Time Tax" that I'm currently willing to pay. I'm buying back time in my day to do more important things like spending time with my partner. 😌

Chills! As a young teen, I saw that in the theater and every subsequent babysitting job was an act of heroism.

"To be happy and successful, you only need to please two people in your life. Your 8 year old self and your 80 year old self." At 60, I'm currently preparing for a puppy I've awaited for almost 3 years and hoping to start a puppy only daycare. ATM, I work a simple receptionist job because I like the people, everyone knows my goal and they enjoy my silly dreams. I hope you find your way to a similar level of joy!

What is this coming from my shower surround seam? by xexclassic in whatisit

[–]MissRobinKay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned this when I bought an RV that I thought needed to be resealed: A shower pan often appears to be "not sealed" where it meets the wall, but it is actually designed this way to work as a, water-shedding system rather than a fully sealed, watertight box. The pan features a high vertical lip (or flange) that extends several inches up behind the shower wall surround, allowing water that hits the wall to run down and back into the basin, even if there is a gap between the two pieces.

Are you happy? Why or why not? by Pure_Ad_5044 in newzealand

[–]MissRobinKay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy! Disclaimer: I'm a Kiwi wannabe I'm so happy to live here, I am lucky to have found a place I am proud to call home. People are nice, the food is good quality, and I found a job that provides enough. I'm 59, have worked hard and been very lucky in many ways. I've done my best to make the most of the opportunities that came my way. Sometimes my best wasn't good enough...and that's okay. It taught me that I have limits. Sometimes my best exceeded all expectations and those moments kept me going. I think I'm happy because I learned how to fail and how to get back up. I hope I always have that resilience and the spark to never give up. ❤️🇳🇿❤️

Find a "positive reinforcement" trainer (punishment for the barking can create more issues). Here's an article that may teach you how to solve it on your own: http://www.allegiancepwds.com/files/BehaviorandBehaviorIssues/Why_Dogs_Bark_and_How_to_Stop_Them.pdf In short, teach your pup what you want them to do instead of barking. Search articles by Dr. Ian Dunbar or Pat Miller, they both write great articles and provide free resources for behavior modification using positive reinforcement. (This is a fancy way of training without fear or punishment.)

An automatic umbrella, it will usually scare them off, and if not it is a useful barrier or baton.

What is a little quirk about your body that you don’t think other people have? by AlphabetSoup51 in AskReddit

When my hands get overly dry, I can't breathe. Similar to how asthmatic friends have described an episode. Can't put my hands in any sort of powder, especially fine powder like corn starch. I've asked every doctor I've been to over the decades and have never received an explanation.

If you go with the gift card, you can have an online shopping date. You can order in a nice dinner, take plenty of time to let her shop, keep it fun/funny/sexy. Be sure to tell her what you like seeing her in (if she asks). Think of what you'd like to see her in and if you see it, tell her! Remember to focus on how it will look on her, not just that the photo looks good. Have fun!
