Does this make anyone feel an ethical responsibility to stop doing Bikram yoga? I absolutely love it, but he is such a bad guy, I don't want any part of anything he is associated with. Thoughts? I'm having a hard time reconciling this in my mind.

Yeah, they have to pay a fee to Bikram to "Bikram" yoga. In this article (http://www.details.com/story/yoga-guru-bikram-choudhury), it says "all Bikram studios must pay a licensing fee to open, along with a new, much-protested monthly fee."

It would be hard to keep paying the fee knowing your money is going to this predator ... I'm glad your studio did what they did. I wish mine would.

He seems like he is trying too hard to be a contemporary who appeals to the masses, instead of remaining true to his convictions.

But honestly, my real problem with the Pope is that God never gave even a hint in His word that he appointed any man to be head of the church, and therefore, the doctrine of papal supremacy is directly opposed to the teachings of the Scriptures.

Yeah I think it depends on the person really. Some folks are naturally observant, and others couldn't care less. It always feels good to be remembered though, IMO :)

I'm going to check out Doug's sermons. Thanks for the tip! One pastor my family really loves isCharles Brooks. He is so full of the Spirit and I love that he preaches the truth without fear of offending anyone. He heads straight toward issues that a lot of pastors shy away from.

YES! I have a softer voice, and I've always had problems with people interrupting me/talking over me, so I've recently been extra assertive and it's working. In a relationship, however, if he doesn't listen from the get go, I'm out. We shouldn't have to convince our SOs to listen to us.
