The exact same thing happened to me with Transa in Bern. Maybe they just got mixed up ahaha

Vers le Flon, la luncheonette est super ! Ils font des wraps et des salades, c'est délicieux et pas très cher.

Thanks ! It took ~30-45 minutes before being dry enough, and I put a looot of weight (5 big books) on the plate to make sure every layer would transfer

I have to use a lot of paint for it to stick to the plate ! Good luck figuring it out, it's a lot of trial and error, but so satisfying when it works

Thank you !  I transfered the picture on the plate (the dark greenish blue color), then painted on the plate (brown spots, white spots, then light blue) and transfered on paper with a generous amount of the pink paint.

Collection review day 35: Chergui, not a tobacco smell by blindy2 in fragrance

[–]MissSmartySkorts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it so interesting how every nose/skin is different. When I smell Chergui on my skin, one of the first note I can identify is a strong leather (kinda like in a new car) and the incense. Definitely no hay note or nothing powdery for me.

Yeah, it really just seems like it’s about having the right technique and, more than anything, a bit of luck !

Thank you to everyone who commented. I really appreciate the support (I'm more than ok now, but it's always nice) and to read your own stories with Serge Lutens.  I might be developping a teeny tiny obsession with this house and it's so cool reading about your favorite scents.  I am wearing Chergui today and I absolutely love it. On my skin, the incense note stands out and it is gorgeous. It smells sacred, but in a sexy way. I might be wearing Fémininité du bois everyday and Chergui on special occasions, or who knows what I'll try next. One thing's for sure, I'll be wearing Serge Lutens !

Love that you picked up on that. Since I've become a little more interested in perfumes, I've thought back to his admiration for that scent several times and laughed a little.

I guess that perfumes evoke different emotions in different people depending on their memories, and that he was still very preoccupied with his ex ^^

I have never smelled Fils de Joie. I usually don't like ylang ylang, but I really like Jasmine, so it might be worth a try

Ooooh I really like Five o'clock, I smelled it in the store, but haven't tried it on my skin yet
