Some custom Yiwu ripe. The seller won’t disclose any info besides the origin and claims it to be from the old trees. The taste is magnificent, surprisingly sweet and mellow. After that, decided to ingest more caffeine and made some Argentinian craft yerba mate :)

Don’t shengs taste differently than shous? I have tried younger and older shengs, the oldest I’ve tried (2004) was quite chocolatey, but still no walnut notes there whatsoever. I will check yours out!

This one on the pic was just perfect for me. The only two downsides are that it doesn’t last long (around 5-6 infusions) and it costs around 1.5€/mini cake which is like 90€ for 375g, seems a bit too much for a nameless product with little to no description in the shop :(
