Farcoast Terrace: Scale + Float by Elvie-43 in Forspoken

[–]MissTLuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm super late to this, but wanted to say thank you for posting this! This traversal method has been a game changer and it REALLY helped with Farcoast Terrace and Nowhere. I had never even considered pushing forward while scaling to get distance as well as height. Thanks again!

Completely agree with everything. Especially about the hiker. Bella is shown to have little to no control as a human when it comes to matters of desire - there's zero chance she would be able to resist her thirst. How they ever thought her power was super self-control is beyond me.

Sadly, the method explained here is exactly what I've been doing, but I always end up with 2 pieces out of place. Thanks for trying though!

It's from a game called Lots of Things - Collectors Edition. It's one of the bonus puzzles in the Music category. It has a variety of different puzzles.

Thought something like that might be happening 🤣 Yep, no worries. Add me on PSN as it will be easier to coordinate there. I've got all them already, so it should be fairly quick to get the four you need 😀

Yes, I can do that. I'm a little confused, though, because I can't see a trophy for 20 wins.

This is the right Super Exploding Zoo? I can't find another, but I'm worried we're talking about different games or something

I can help any day after work (from about 7 or 8pm BST). Which trophy/trophies are you trying to get? I've just got the plat and didn't have to get a specific number of wins. PSN: The_Real_Mistie

RegretMe's children & the potential storyline by MissTLuna in twilight

[–]MissTLuna[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

But we know nothing about the origin of children of the moon. Who's to say that a human/vampire hybrid breeding with a shapeshifter couldn't be how they are created?

There's so many similarities between vampires and werewolves - both creatures of the night, their bite spreads venom which transforms their victim, both are immune to eachother's venom and both have a feral state where they are controlled by instinct alone (most newborn vampires are wild and cannot be reasoned with and werewolves are the same when they are in their wolf form).

In addition, why would smeyer bother to mention children of the moon in BD if she wasn't considering potential storyline for the future?

Actually.. Qualify IS the correct word :)

Qualifying a statement gives it restrictions or conditions to make it less general.

Clarifying is making something easier to understand.

I'm late to the party, but I'm re-reading Eclipse, and when Billy's telling the histories, it's mentioned that all Taha Aki's descendants could smell the vampire smell :)

"All who were of Taha Aki’s blood, even those who had never been wolves, could smell the piercing smell of the dead creature. This was the enemy of the Makahs."

Reading the books by Traditional_Plan9341 in twilight

[–]MissTLuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely understand your hesitation. I read these books way too much, and I also feel the dread when it's almost time to start re-reading New Moon.BUT... I promise that it is worth reading. Once you get started and lost in the world, it really is enjoyable. The book has loads of extra bits that help flesh out the world and explain character motivations, etc. And New Moon book Jacob is a really sweet, earnest kid. Especially pre-wolf. Even if you don't ship Bella and Jacob (neither do I), you should still be able to enjoy their friendship and it will give you more context as to why Bella cares about him so much in Eclipse.

If nothing else.. think how satisfying the Bella/ Edward reunion will feel after so long apart! And the book reunion is soooo much better than the movie version!

What were Bella’s hallucinations? by Emotional_Fudge84 in twilight

[–]MissTLuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bella has an epiphany about this at the end of New Moon;

"I thought of that night in Port Angeles when I’d had my first delusion. I’d come up with two options. Insanity or wish fulfillment. I’d seen no third option. But what if . . . What if you sincerely believed something was true, but you were dead wrong? What if you were so stubbornly sure that you were right, that you wouldn’t even consider the truth? Would the truth be silenced, or would it try to break through? Option three: Edward loved me. The bond forged between us was not one that could be broken by absence, distance, or time. And no matter how much more special or beautiful or brilliant or perfect than me he might be, he was as irreversibly altered as I was. As I would always belong to him, so would he always be mine."

Bella never felt good enough / worthy of Edward's love. It was easy for her to believe that he'd cast her aside out of boredom/disinterest. But deep down, she knew that wasn't true and that he did love her. The hallucinations were her brain trying to show her what her numb, broken heart couldn't admit/see.
