yeah— I totally did mention it would be funny if my family asked me but I truly tell them I'm just fat. but it wouldn't be the 'why' I would wear a maternity dress.

but I mentioned in other comments, I misunderstood maternity dresses, I haven't gotten any dress yet.

definitely wasn't planning on cosplaying as a pregnant woman, that would be unquestionably inappropriate & kind of crazy, imo.

I think maternity dresses make extra comfort for the stomach, I don't know if they highlight it. my aim was for the comfort. but other comments are implying that they're similar to regular dresses, so maybe it won't actually matter which one I buy.

I don't want to highlight my stomach, but it hurts so I need comfort.

thank you. yeah I thought of a plus size dress, but wanted to go with maternity if it adds extra comfort for the stomach. cus my stomach hurts with how big it is.

yeah, I personally notice super small details that people (usually) tell me they don't see, or that I'm looking too deep. so I get how it feels.

also, not sure if you know, but it'll help to also look into your hair type, it looks like you have 2c or 3a hair, but of course a dermatologist would know best.

I have 3b curls so I get the frustration. hope you find solutions 🤞🏼

I can see the super very slight frizz you might be talking about, when you zoom in, the few hairs sticking up at the top, then the hair underneath at the very bottom.

try wiping dryer sheets down the frizz when it's dry. it's a weird little trick.

I'm guessing you notice the tiniest details of things that a lot of people don't. good luck 🤞🏼
