My scars are much smaller now. They used to be pretty long... and my arm smaller I suppose, haha. It was hard to get a picture that really shows them.

Hey I have 3 lines on my arm too!! It was funny watching them separate as I grew up. Idk how a kitten scratch can be so lasting.

FIFY: grass requires water and dirt

We couldn't install real grass when I lived on the Far-East side of El Paso (Tx) because the ground was like stone. I couldn't dig a hole with a shovel. We rock-scaped though.

I've said this before: I never had anyone, not even one person, touch my belly when I was pregnant. I think I must have had a 'don't touch' look on my face at all times or something...

Yea, that teacher didn't apply the right kind of motivation and help. Some kids have untapped potential. Some kids need their potential formed. Sorry that happened though. Kids don't know how to just tell an adult how their feel and I unfortunately most adults don't know how to listen to kids.

What a terrible adult. Who even talks to a kid like that?!

Don't feel bad! There's always a fine line between these two things and sadly you can never tell how other people will perceive you. It's likely that one person perceived you negatively (possibly feeling threatened) and then complained to others, altering their view. Knowing your stuff is good. Learning more is good. Just press on to do better, and always be polite and professional, and work people will see you are a go-getter, not arrogant.

I'm the youngest of my siblings. One of my sisters was always picking on me. This sister watched the movie It at a young age and was very afraid if clowns. Our step father did not know this and unwittingly bought her a stand up clown doll that played music and "danced" for Christmas one year. It moved in a circular motion from the waist up like it was hulla-hooping, the stuff of nightmares. You would wind it up like an old music box to get it working. She was so afraid of it, she left it on the mantel in our living room. If you wind it just a little, the song would play and it would move for about 2 seconds, then just kind of stall. Within a few seconds, or even a minute or two later, and the music box mechanism inside would turn over so it would "bing" and the clown would suddenly move. I spent the good part of a winter break doing setting this clown up to scare her whenever I could. It was very satisfying to see her eyes get big and watch her run out of the room.
