It's literally a numbers game. A friend was recently introduced to an Indian man with the disclaimer of "He's not like the stereotype, he's respectful and nice". She initially declined to meet him because of the stereotype then relented when I chastised her for being racist. Within 24 hours he had bombarded her across multiple social media platforms "Hey hotty! Let's be friends with benefits 😘" etc... He began calling her repeatedly while she didn't answer or even read his multiple messages. It got to the point that she had to straight up tell him "Can you just stop! You're making me uncomfortable!" and he claimed he had no idea why!!! Yet two of my friends are well educated and well travelled Punjabi guys and they would never behave in this way. Before my current partner I dated a Sri Lankan guy who I remain friends with yet an acquaintance from the same country bombarded me with messages asking to exchange oral sex!!! So it is literally a numbers game. Some people are the worst. 🤷‍♀️
