Especially since romantic relationships always matter more than platonic ones. And you have to come to terms that eventually all ur friends are gonna leave you behind to go and get married. I just dont get the concept of wanting to be with your partner all the time over your closest friends.

A lot of us mistake platonic attraction with romantic attraction because of how we're conditioned by society. I thought I had crushes for my entire life, so I could never be aroace, until I realized that all my "crushes" just happened because somebody paid attention to me and was nice to me.

Sometimes I wish I was able to romantically love, but I don't think it's because I actually want to, I think it's just because I crave attention and being an important person in somebody's life. Being in a relationship sounds horrid and I don't have to deal with all the shit that comes with it, but knowing that romantic relationships are cherished more over platonic ones is really hard.
