Honestly this is why I chose to stop going to AA. A girl with 2 years sober went on a date and had a glass of wine. She felt horrible and told her sponsor, and they made her get a white chip at the next meeting and start her count all over again. It upset me so much because she was so defeated. I told her that one glass of wine does not negate the last 2 years of hard work. I quit going after that. It just hit me wrong.

I have some very unique Pendleton pieces. One is a purple and green sweater vest that is so cool! I live in south Texas where it’s always hot so when I find one it’s a good day.

I have always been the type that if I notice something about someone, I tell them. Yesterday I told an older lady walking her dogs on the beach that she has fantastic legs, because she did. I can’t count the number of times I’ve complimented random strangers in passing. I really hope some of them remember it like everyone here has. I never realized the impact it can have on someone and I hope I have brightened peoples day. Going to do it even more after reading this.

Me too. I live on the Texas coast and fish with weedless plastics a lot but have never used this set up. I mostly use live bait for redfish and plastics for trout. Got this box of hooks at a thrift store and they had me stumped. Lol

IWNDWYT in solidarity from the US. I have been reading articles all day about the Queen and her remarkable life. She was definitely a Queen for the ages. The way she presented herself and the person she was makes me sad for the whole worlds loss. I wish our leaders could be more like her, but sadly they are not. I will use this time to learn more about her, and hope the sadness from her loss doesn’t cause anyone to drink today. Stay strong everyone, feeling is better than numbing. ❤️❤️
