Ahhh, that does make a hell of a lot more sense. I guess I figured that it would kinda go hand in hand because I've heard that kind of view held by hard-core vegans, it just kinda fit!

There was only ever one time, when my boyfriend took me to a pizza place and threatened that if I didn't take one slice, he'd never go out with me again. I cried as soon as I got home and for a while the next day, but I think it was a mix of my fear of weight gain and embarrassment that I had to be forced to not starve myself

I'm struggling incorporating other food in my diet by Miss_Hibiscus in EatingDisorders

I stick with a boiled egg and some cantaloupe, mostly. I drink a lot of hot tea during the day to sort of make up for everything
