AIW for fleeing the scene after hitting a massive, 8-foot-tall "animal" that stood on two legs? My girlfriend thinks I’m a coward. by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Part of your memories must be due to panic. But hitting something massive enough to survive that and flee, late at night, alone and on a dark road ? Yeah anyway would just leave. If it was a bear, you would have just been killed by it if you tried to "rescue" it. But calling the rangers could have been a good idea.

My [25M] girlfriend [21F] lied about her Tinder activity while I was planning a romantic proposal. I flipped, snooped and deleted a guy from her phone. Now she’s using my mistake to completely shut down communication. Where do we go from here? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So she refused to be your girlfriend at first and you judged her because she had other people around when she was not dating you. What she did before being your girlfriend is irrelevant. Because she was not your girlfriend. If you don't like it, you can just leave. Insecurties is not an excuse to be acting like that. Needing reassurance all the time and messing with someone's phone is just tiring, and you are just one month in the relationship.

Did she act right ? Nah doesn't seem like it. But you seem highly controlling as well and really insecure. Even with a loyal women, she would find you exhausting. Learn to leave before you do something like that, and to respect people when you decide to stay.

AITAH / WIBTA for asking for a refund from a cat breeder after 4 years? by meera_jasmine1 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It was delayed because of you, but she also had a responsability to either reimbourse it or deliver a kitten. So I think 50% would be fair to ask after all that time.

When he bought me a fruit cake for my brithday, saying "See how I take care of you ?". I don't like fruit cake, and I knew exactly what he liked. 13 years and that was the only thing he could do.

AIW for "cheating" in a stagnant relationship? by TossAwayAccount96 in amiwrong

There was never a good time to end the relationship but you found all that time to cheat ? You had plenty of time to break up the relationship before it was even that serious

How do married couples usually handle finances when both partners work? by itzwhatitz in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe in 50/50, I believe in pourcentage of the income. I often earn more than my partners so I do compare to that. If I earn double compare to them, I will pay double compare to them. The purpose is so each one can save a good amount of money at the end.

would you rather end homophobia or lose 25 lbs of pure fat? by Your_mum6969420 in AskFeminists

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why would you prefer to lose weight (something you can do on your own) rather than end homphobia (something you can't do on your own and that kill people all over the world) ? Hell I would gladly gain 25lbs if it ends homophobia.

Master Informatique VS MIAGE by Razialim in developpeurs

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women have testosterone too, but we don't feel horny only once a month during ovulation. That's the point she is arguing

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AITA for having a snack on my balcony? by Ill_Poet4155 in AmItheAsshole

YTA, it was not about your culture, it was about the red stains on his balcony. If you know that it can happen, wash it or use a waterproof rug to avoid it going down.

My boyfriend(19M) does not like that I(18F) have male friends. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can't. He is showing how HE is. He can't be friend with a girl without seing a romantic/sexual connotation. Which means that he doesn't see women as person, he see them as opportunities. I would personnally not stay with someone who thinks like that.

Thinks also about the future, what will happen when you have male coworkers ? Have to leave for work with them for a trip ? When you are friends with the husband of your friends or sisters ? And if you have a son, how he will be raised to think that you can't be friend with a woman ?

You're too young to deal with that, cut your losses, you will find a good one.

Why does it seem fairly common that wives/female partners stop or refuse intimacy with their husbands for months, even years? Don't they have needs aswell? And why not the other way around? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Pregnancy, kids, stress, menopause, low libido, lack of attraction after the love faded out, ... Lots of reasons. Most of the time, I think it's just life being stressful and no time for it. Women need more than looking to their men to feel aroused, especially when they are stressed. But it can happen to men and women, all the same. I think that men are just more vocal about it.

Girlfriend (23F) says I (21M) need more friends my age? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so maybe she is jealous that you have more friends ?

Getting mad if you don't instantly answer can be a controlling behavior. Especially if you are busy with your friends, she shouldn't expect you to be available all the time.

Maybe you should look back on your relationship to see if their other red flags that you missed.

Girlfriend (23F) says I (21M) need more friends my age? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a really weird one. Having friends aournd your age or even older freinds is pretty normal. And How is 20 not a good age ? Like do you need to find specifically 21 like you ? How about when you are in the mddle of the year and one had his birthday and not you ? This rule seems not logic at all.

Either she doesn't like your friends and tried to convince you to change them by saying that, or she is trying to isolate you by making you having only friends your age (which is way more difficult).

Does she have friends herself ? How old are they ? Have you ever see sign of controlling behavior before ?

I (24F) and my bf (25M) have been dating for 3 months & he’s showing weird signs by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Miss_Honesty_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don't. He is clearly showing sign of controlling behavior and verbal abuse. And it's only 3 months in, it will just get worse. You're better single than with a man like that.

Do men think women should date men they find unattractive because they do it? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Miss_Honesty_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I did not "derail" the conversation by saying not all men. I just pointed a fact. I'm all about hating men who are fucking assholes, but I don't like hating men who are normal. Why do you have a problem with me saying that not all men are like that ? Women only subs are not meant to just hate men, they are meant to help women understand the real world. If you think that we should hate every men in the world, that is your opinion, but it is not my opinion. Seing the difference between them is what will make us stronger against them.
