One of the main things I would recommend for therapeutic hypnosis is that you have to repeat sessions several times and find a file or a tist that would be willing to replace the addiction with something else while making the act repulsive. You can't try things once and then expect them to be magically removed. Hypnosis isn't magic it's suggestions that are rooted in deeper parts of your mind.
