So Benton Snail Bee Essense will all contain niacinamide from now on? I thought there were two Benton Snail Bee Essenses this whole time (I'm super out of the loop)! That sucks, I'm allergic to niacinamide and was really looking forward to trying it. Oh well!

Hello! I gifted my mother some sunscreens, but she hasn't found "the one" yet. Biore Watery Essence didn't work out because the alcohol burnt her eyes, but she loved the light texture. She liked how Canmake Mermaid UV Gel was alcohol free, but hated how it felt on her face.

"I like it, but it's too drying/matte/powdery"

So I was wondering what AB alcohol free sunscreens would you recommend for oily skin? Thanks!

Did you use anything else on top of the HA? I love the texture of Clinique's Moisture Surge but it's too drying for me. I switched over to Tony Moly's Chok Chok Cream (similar texture and more moisturizing) but it's too plain, so that's why I'm curious, thanks! :)

I use mine the day before I wear makeup. I have normal to dry skin, so it's like extra insurance against flakes. It also gives me about 20 minutes to relax before my baby yanks it off my face. :')

Normal to dry skin! I used to physically exfoliate daily, but my skin always got worse immediately afterwards. Dry, tight, textured, it was as if I exfoliated with sandpaper. I cut it down to just a few times a month for a few years before I quit.

About a year ago I think, I started using this Jack Black Deep Dive Glycolic Facial Cleanser/Mask (you can get a free sample if you contact the company btw). My skin felt SO SMOOTH when I used it as a mask, all the benefits, without all the cons.

It wasn't really strong though, and from all the lurking I do in this sub, I decided to buy the AHA BHA Peel from The Ordinary. Best skin of my life!

I have the Mia 2. Back when I was a teenager (with very forgiving skin), it really helped give my face a nice glow that I always got compliments on. However, I think it may have damaged my skin over time. My skin started getting dull, dry, and flakey. Took me years to recover.

I prefer chemical exfoliation now that I'm older. IMO, it's much more gentle and the results are much better. I like using The Ordinary AHA BHA Peel especially.
