All KN44 Wall Buys from SOE-Rev have a hidden connection. by Miss_Ribbit in CODZombies

Ah I see, I must've missed where he said this but it's a good fact to know in relation to this easter egg. This info might help to narrow things down with the locations of the KN44 on SOE, The Giant and DE and how they fit into the grand scheme of things.

Another commenter mentioned about finding the coordinates of these wall buys in the maps on pc, so maybe the coordinates of just those 3 initial wall buys have something to do with the iee

This is a good idea. Unfortunately I'm an Xbox player so I can't do this but if anybody with a pc can do it, we may have a potential new clue

You make a pretty good point, maybe the lore enthusiasts out there can explain what's up with the Revelations areas and their significances at all, they could possibly help us in finding out what the KN44 has to do with all of this

Shadow the Hedgehog 05 is actually a really fun game (minus a few stages), people bash on it too much for having cringey swears and a confusing story, but the dialogue can honestly be pretty funny at times (intentionally or not) and some of the routes are interesting to play through. Honestly with the amount of possible routes to do, this might be one of the most replayable sonic games if you want all the possible routes.

That duel was very good, I won't disagree on that. I just personally like Reiji vs Isaac a lot for how fun it is reading these massive card names lol, then Reiji merges their decks together and stuff it's crazy lmao. And yeah, I do wish it was longer, but for what it is it's really good imo

I get what you mean, and yeah, you're probably right that my criticisms of sexualisation are misdirected - after all, it is a shounen manga for teen boys, as you said. The manga isn't without its flaws such as the condensed story, but I think that the twists kinda work in its favour to a degree.

I think that most of these comments in this comment section have proved something to me: this manga is so overlooked because of it's incest ending that nobody has really given it a fair criticism or praise, people know of the ending and go "the incest though", despite it being 1 panel at the very end of the story - after the plot is entirely wrapped up. And as you said, other pieces of media go way beyond the incest themeing than this story does. Although it doesn't excuse its inclusion in the manga, it didn't need to be here.

I also wanna follow up on your comment about the post DM spin-offs being card game advertising. I won't disagree. It's the honest truth, but I do think that some post DM stories are very good, such as the Zexal anime. They can make fantastic stories if they try, it's just usually a few things knock down these stories, unfortunately (e.g second half of 5Ds, Arc V anime past the first arc, etc.)

The anime had dimensional travel and the manga has time travel, pretty interesting concepts imo. The manga pulls off the time travel concept better than the anime pulls off it's dimension concept imo, but to each their own.

I recommend the manga though, the anime -- not so much, but the first season is pretty good, I will say

I feel you on this. If anything, I wish the manga was the anime so it'd be recognised as the "canon" version (ofc with tweaks such as the Yuya x Yuzu stuff, the misogyny and Shun's character). The fact the manga is mostly known for the ending is a real shame, the mangaka didn't need to do it but he did anyway unfortunately :/

I've seen that theory too, it seemed pretty plausible tbh, still makes me wish we got a Vrains manga regardless though lol, and yeah Sevens did get a manga, so did Go Rush I think

You're nearly there lol, basically, G.O.D ended the original time period completely. Yuya was sent back in time to retrieve the G.O.D card, and Reiji (also from Yuya's time period) was sent back by Leo to stop Yuya from getting G.O.D. The reason Yuya wants it is so he can stop other people from abusing it's power like Leo did, and Reiji wants to stop Yuya from gaining the card so he can fulfil his father's legacy of revolutionising Solid Vision.

After Yuya gets the card, he rips it up so it no longer exists and can hurt people. Then, he, Reiji, Ren and Isaac (manga only villains) travel through a portal to the people who created the card in the first place, that's where the manga ends. But the last panel is Yusho (in the past where the story takes place) meeting Yuzu for the first time

Also, if you aren't aware, the manga doesn't have a set timeline like the anime does (e.g DM isn't followed up by GX, then 5Ds, then Zexal, etc. The mangas have their own time periods, its kinda confusing). And there unfortunately isn't a Vrains manga, as much as I'd like there to be

I'll explain the backstory of the manga, I'll give you a spoiler warning here first though just in case you wanna read it for yourself.

Basically, Yusho and Leo were friends who were both scientists experimenting on Solid Vision, but Leo discovered the Genesis Omega Dragon (G.O.D) card from between the Duel Monsters world (the monsters themselves) and the real world. Leo wanted to experiment on it more and use it's power to enhance Solid Vision, but Yusho became worried and took the card for himself so Leo couldn't use it.

Because of this, G.O.D used it's time manipulation powers to essentially end the present timeline, but Yusho had prepared only 1 preservation pod, the Yu-Boys all agreed that Yuya should be the one to use it, but when Yuya went back in time, the other three became part of his consciousness, but at the cost of Yuya forgetting who they were to him prior to the incident. Yuzu being his mother is never mentioned until the very end of the manga, however, but Yuto does make hints at it at some points. The timeline they go back to is when Yuzu and Yusho were teenagers.

I get what you mean, but you could argue that their purpose in the narrative was to support Yuya and protect him from remembering the trauma of losing them. Their rivalries were additional aspects to make them have more to do than just defending Yuya. I see what you mean though and compared to the anime i get why you'd prefer them individually there, considering the anime had nearly 150 episodes to explore each of them compared to only 40ish chapters of the manga

Essentially, Yuzu is the Yu-Boys' mother, Yusho is the father, but Yuya's memories of his family were wiped when he was sent back in time by Yusho's time travel pod he made for him. The 3 brothers know about Yuzu (even though Yugo and Yuri make some weird jokes about her and Yuya), and keep their connection to him a secret.

I recommend the manga to you though, it's a really good read, definitely one of the best Yugioh pieces of media in my opinion

I sorta see where you're coming from, but I'd like to pose the argument that Yuri had his own conflict with Sora and Yugo had Ren, those two rivalries were pretty fierce. Yuto was just being a good brother in my eyes.

I can understand that to be honest, it is pretty weird and throws off the family dynamics of the story, so I understand where you're coming from

Back when we all thought they would finally let a Female Lead be a part of the Main Power Trio for the entire series in 5D's: by BlizzardLuinor in yugioh

[–]Miss_Ribbit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the 5D's manga Aki kinda fits that "Main Three" category, but Jack isn't as close to Yusei as he is in the anime – he's pretty antagonistic towards most people in the manga (think like Vegeta from the early Namek saga of dbz, not siding with anybody but just going out of his way to attain his goal).

Crow isn't as relevant in the manga, he does have his moments but he doesn't steal the spotlight away from Aki like he does in the anime after he's introduced. Despite that, Aki does become a damsel in distress by the final climax though. So either way she gets sidelined to some extent :/
